Disappointed...updated! Loving it!!!

I had finally decided to rent a RV, drive to Orlando, and stay at FW during our October break. I had everything planned, purchased my Costco membership to get a discount on the RV, and I called to get ressies for a preferred pet loop. There is nothing available except a non preferred no pet area. What would you do???>>>>

KEEP Trying everyday! Last year we wanted to go in on Thanksgiving and the campground was completely full. I called everyday right when the phones opened up in the morning. About 8 weeks before thanksgiving, reservations opened up for a partial hookup. We took those and I kept on trying. One week later we got the site we wanted.

Thanks for the encouragement ! I will keep trying for awhile but I can't wait too long since there is only 1 RV rental in my town. They only have a couple of RVs! Don't you just love small towns

Just book a full hook up loop sites are just as good as preferred loops but no cable TV. You can pick up major TV stations with camper antenna and save 10.00 a day.

Still have to mention about a pet if you are going to bring the additional family member. Maybe something will open up. Keep trying.

Pet loops Full hook up 800,1600,1700,1800,1900. overflow 900 preferred 300,500,700. FW will also designate any loop a pet loop if needed. Getting in with a pet won't be a problem. When check in they ask if you have any pets then place in pet loop.

I got it - I got it! I took your advice and called today- the CM was so nice and she actually found a preferred loop with a pet request!! I went online and reserved the RV, so we are ready to go

We are going October 12-16. I think a Wednesday-Sunday. Our kids are out of school for teacher conference every year and we try to take advantage of it! We had already booked a room at WL but my DD loves camping and never even thought of this as a possibility until we saw those 1-800-4rent-rv or something like that! We have friends who are staying there and we plan on taking our golf cart and really just enjoying the actual campground. This is so exciting for us- something new and all!
