DISappearing Peeps...A fastpass to THIN! Part 4

Thanks everyone. I am of course happy about it overall, but I have to admit I was a bit sad too. (I may have shed a tear or 2 actually)

I have my long hoped for surgery scheduled for the 18th, and now it will have to wait about 9 months. I have waited 33 yrs, so what is another 9 mos. right? My approval is good until 6-21 of next year, so I can still have it done, just have to have a baby first!

What a long night... Didn't go to work today, my dog was up all night with an "upset stomach" (which is just a euphemism for -- she upchucked all over my floor for hours). Needless to say, I didn't sleep much at all AND my carpet has lots of little wet spots everywhere. UGGGHHH. Have to decide whether or not to call the vet and get an appointment to get her checked out.

Oh well, such is the life of a dog owner.

Good morning peeps! I have been up for over an hour for some reason...I should have been tired enough to sleep until noon, but my internal clock woke me up at 7!

I have just a few pictures. None with me in it! Guess that sii what happens when I am the only one who can use the camera. Her photographer has some on his site I will download today though, and if I can figure out how I have some video too.

I just got back from my joke of an interview for my 2nd externship site. Why do nursing homes always smell? I still smell it on me and I was only there 15 minutes. I'm sure I'll get used to it though. I'll definitely have to get another shower in before my big night tonight.

I also need to get a nap in...which is what I'm about to go do. I had the hardest time sleeping last night. Tossed and turned till 3:30 and had to get up at 7:30. And I need my sleep!

Eeyore- No, your ends should never be pulled through till the last couple of minutes. You're looking at a FUN time at the salon for color correction. They'll use a mild bleach on the darker ends. I 'm sorry I can't tell you what to do, but really, get to a salon with a good color correctionist. Unless you strip it out with bleach and then start over, it's NOT a home project...((unless you want cotton candy textured hair)). Sorry not to be a very good help.

My guestimated due date is march 8th I think...and according to what I can figure, we conceived this little one on DH's b-day! I go see the Dr next week on Tuesday And I will certainly still be here. I am not trying to lose any more obviously, but I am trying to minimize the gain. With my DD I only gained 16 pounds, and she was 9pds 11oz when she was born. Apparently I had some fat to share with her



OK- SERIOUSLY! What the heck! I cant click on any of the smilies in my replies, and I cant change the size or color of the font. (I only did it above by copying another post) Any ideas??? I love my smilies!

Smilies are working for me - the answers I've gotten from techy people when I post problems are either... reboot your computer and see if that helps... (and it does - esp since other peeps are getting smilies and colors) or go up to "Tools" on your menu task bar (File Edit View Favorites Tools Help) click on "Internet Options" Then "Delete Files" (its in the internet temporary box) for some reason you do have to clear your files as our computer stores every page we've been to... (I cant tell you the techy answer - just know I now do this every month or so)

I'm sweatin I did it 45 min of my slooooooow jog (wogging the whole way) sadly I only went 2.51 miles... long way to go to get to 13.1 miles...

I joined sparkspeople... I just dont think Kimkins will work, peeps are motivating... but I'm old, I'm slow, and I'm fat! Sparks is free, and I'm going to track my calories there! (I'm angelmum3 there too, I hate having a split personality, but eeyore just isnt a good fit for where I want to be - I'm more the Princess type anyway!! )

Uma Yeah, but I'm going to rely on me - after giving myself a deep conditioning - I really dont know about "build up" It makes sense seeings how I color my hair every 8 - 12 weeks... but I'm going to just color it - ends last... and see how it turns out - seeings how its summer, I can get it "fixed" in August... or Sept before the Peep meet...

Kat...surely they have completed cat scans and MRIs...and nothing?? Are there more tests scheduled? Prayers continuing for your FIL and your family.

They did the MRI yesterday, but we don't expect to hear anything about the results until Thursday as tomorrow is a holiday. This is a small community hospital, and, well, there just doesn't seem to be a sense of urgency here.

We are still in the hospital waiting game. My FIL isn't really doing any better, although he has stopped seizing at least. He is ornery on a good day, so keeping him from pulling out his IVs and getting out of bed is a constant struggle. Hopefully we will know more tomorrow or Thursday, and can either move him to managed care or into the bigger, better hospital near where my husband and I live.

I jumped in, colored my hair - I love the reddish highlights from this product (ion) but I dont think the ends are as light as the top of my head.. but when I pull the ends to my head top - its the same color?

I"M STILL HUNGRY - 3 hours before dinner... I can make it... (and I have carrots, apples, pineapple, cucumbers... my tummy isnt growling... )

she was in fine form last night. she was blackmailing nicky not to give her up when she ran away and she wouldn't call her nicky, just "liar." it was funny. she also told the guy that runs the runaway shelter that barb raised minature horses?!?!??? that one made me laugh.

Congrats Jen!! I will find out by this weekend if our first time at trying worked. I know there are tests to allow you find out BEFORE you miss your period but I don't know how accurate they are. I think AF is due on the 8th so we will see what happens! Keep your fingers crossed!!

We leave for Disney on 7/6. Just a few more days. The suitcases are packed and waiting I cant believe it is really here.

I went to the Lane Bryant outlet near me today. Found 2 cute tops to take with me. So I feel better and not as "frumpy"-
