I guess my family dynamics is grossly evident- I am the "parent" in my family- I am the "fixer"- goes along with being the oldest i guess-
i can so relate to this! EVERYONE in my family (including my parents) calls me for advice. i know i should be proud of the fact that they have so much faith in me, but sometime it really is a burden and brings me down, especially with the stuff my dad's side of the family has dealt with the past 5 years. DRAMA!!! i hope it all works out for you - i'm sure everything will turn out to be okay.

Anyway, I'm hoping now that the full moon is past, things can go back to normal (whatever that is).
Hope you have fun with us here.
As of yesterday morning, DD's passport had been completed but not approved. We are hoping it was approved and shipped out yesterday. We're crossing our fingers and toes, braiding our hair, tying our shoes, and praying every day with gratitude that it arrives in time if indeed she is meant to go on this trip.

So now we call all friends to see if anyone has an extra set. SO far nothing. Now we have to drive 2 hours each way to get a pair of shorts for camp in the morning. Somehow I will fit this in DH day to do. The reason the shorts are this important is--with out full uniform on they are not allowed to go into the mess hall for dinner--I know it sounds stupid, but that is the rule----we might run to Wal-MArt and see if they have anything that might work--but they won't be official BSA uniforom shorts. Hopefully we will find them!!!
This will be my last post before I leave for vacation! We are going to stay close to the airport tonight. I am so excited!!
I checked the 10 day forcast for Orlando and they are calling for storms the whole time we are there.
Hopefully, they won't last long enough to make a difference. I have ponchos though!
