I love the exercise ball... lay on it, tummy down... then walk on your hands forward to balance... its really hard, I havent worked up to getting passed my knees... goal is to get to the ankles and do push ups...

Wow! I'm amazed that I didn't have more pages to catch up on from last night! Not that I'm complaining.

Well folks, I met Sandy and her son and her son's friend for dinner last night at Perkin's. (Yes, I was good. Sorry no totals the past couple of days. All this Sept trip stuff has been keeping me so busy! I will do better!) Anywho, what fun we had! We went to a bar after dinner. (I had 1 beer.) And Sandy came over to my house. We looked at scrapbook stuff and talked about the upcoming meet. She got to meet Oliver, Jasper, and DH, and I showed her around the house a bit. (OMG Sandy! I forgot to show you the collectible room! ) She stayed at our house since it was a little roomier than her son's and he was working. Tonight I am meeting her to go see the U of I production of My Fair Lady. (Her other son is in the pit orchestra for it. Right, Sandy?) Yes, I had DH take a picture. (Did you think I forgot?)

(I just now noticed my collar was messed up! )

Anyway, it was a late night, and I have Oliver on one side of me now and Jasper on the other, so I am going to give them some attention, go get ready and pick up mine and DH's rings at the jewelers (They were being replated.). And then I might get some rest before the show tonight. I'll try to check back in later.

Sounds like you had a great time, and you both look lovely. I'm so jealous of any Peep meet, and this one sounds extra great.

I have a bunch of pages to catch up on but I just wanted to check in and say the wedding went well!! I feel like I have a hangover today even though all I drank was pop and water!!! Ray is returning the tux now and then I think we are going to catch up on 24 when he gets home. I am going to skip weigh in this week!! I hope the wedding counts as a pass!! I'll post more later!

P.S. Now even a card from Ray's parents, sister, grandma or brother. He is VERY hurt about it. Not concerned with getting a gift...just hurt that no one in his immediate family could even be bothered to send a card.

Congratulations and welcome back. to Ray, and you can console him by telling him he married into a family that gives DIS cards (or is it a mixed marriage? 1 DISer and 1 non-DISer. My DH is a convert, but he still can't compete with me for DIS obsession). Hope your day was everything you dreamed, and that your love for each other just goes stronger each day.

I could just kick myself. My weight was a stay the same this past week. We went to Monterey, and my eating was pretty good. However, DH was a big mopey party pooper and sucked a lot of the fun out of the trip. When I got home, I binged! Today, I went to the gym, and my weight was still the same. So that means there was a weight-loss hiding in me, and I ruined it by eating out of frustration. So, anyway, I worked my tushy off at the gym, and I'm trying to get back to eating right. I wonder when I'm going to learn not to turn to food when I'm upset. I did let DH know I was upset, and he brought out the footspa and gave me a semi-pedicure. I don't think I can get him to paint my nails, though.

Okay, I'm actually inspired to clean my house (trust me, that doesn't happen often). And I mean, REALLY clean it... so I can have company clean. (Odd that losing weight makes me want to clean my house AND be a girly girl.)

Anyway, I was "putting away" bunches of clothes from my closet 'cuz they're just too darn big. THEN I went into the laundry room and was folding things that also needed to be put away in the most recent loads. Came across a pair of DD's stretchy size 22 jeans. Don't know what possessed me, but I tried them on... AND THEY FIT!!!!!!!! Fit fit, not muffin-top fit. I don't like the way they cling to my belly, but with a long Mickey Mouse t-shirt they look pretty darn good (but what doesn't look good with a Mickey Mouse t-shirt? ).

The last time I wore jeans was approximately... ohhhh... 18 years ago!

Are they stretchy jeans? Yeah, but SO WHAT, THEY ARE JEANS!

The Nemo show is at AK but the Nemo ride is at Epcot. We do have two separate ressies and they are under YOUR name so you can call and check anything on them. I will add Sparkie on when we find out about your sister...then I can swap them if I have too. You're right..we do have WCC on the 24th but could easily make it for 5:00....if it's just us we could be out of there by 6!!! Count me in for the cruise!!! When do you think your other sister will know if she can go?


My dad and his gf gave a generous Disney gift card for the wedding!!! It will be nice to go there and actually buy myself something. When it's my money I always buy things for other people but not myself!!

YEAH for Disney money!!! Well, sister #1 is in 100%. Sister #2 is in 80%- it depends on if she gets a 'real job' at a school or if she ends up in a preschool again. She is going to school to be a teacher but isnt done yet. Some schools around here willlet her teach anyways, and she is hoping to get one but her chances arent great. I sort of hope she doesnt so she can go! She should hear from the schools soon- possibly at the end of next week.

I am in, we just need to take a vote on the date I think.

Also, please think about going to the dollar store, or Targets Dollar bin and pick up secret gifts to lay out at night for your kids - we call this the visit from "Tinkerbelle"... today I picked up a pair of Tinkerbelle socks I'm going to save for the trip... little things... that way if my dd gets excited about Tinkerbelle gifts... I wont have to tell her that Tinkerbelle knows the Easter Bunny and Santa... actually, SHE wont have to tell me!!

We do Tinkerbell gifts too. DD is still talking about it from last Sept. We actualy leave them on the window ledge, so she knows where to check.

Okay, I'm actually inspired to clean my house (trust me, that doesn't happen often). And I mean, REALLY clean it... so I can have company clean. (Odd that losing weight makes me want to clean my house AND be a girly girl.)

Anyway, I was "putting away" bunches of clothes from my closet 'cuz they're just too darn big. THEN I went into the laundry room and was folding things that also needed to be put away in the most recent loads. Came across a pair of DD's stretchy size 22 jeans. Don't know what possessed me, but I tried them on... AND THEY FIT!!!!!!!! Fit fit, not muffin-top fit. I don't like the way they cling to my belly, but with a long Mickey Mouse t-shirt they look pretty darn good (but what doesn't look good with a Mickey Mouse t-shirt? ).

Now that is exciting and fun! Yay for you! I wish I wanted to clean - I did a little today, but I had a charity "tasting tea" to go to. "Fancy - Scmancy" food - I'm pretty sure it didn't hurt my diet... I tasted everything but only a bite of each. I like plain food!

Don't feel bad planning your trip - we all love knowing the plans - you could be writing a pre - trip telling about all the changes and you know we'd be reading!

Dene, I thought your earlier comment was good. After you and Sandy both made unflattering comments about your pictures I was trying to think of something good and encouraging to say and before I could you realized and commented. We are so hard on ourselves. I loved getting to see Sandy and Lynda and it was a great picture and yours that you posted recently were wonderful.

I did a flat out wrap with ff refried beans, ff cheese and some homemade salsa and I didnt even want that tombstone pizza my DH passed in front of me.

Dene - congrats on the pants. Do you think they are magic pants? Like the ones on the Sisterhood of the Traveling pants? Did you see that movie or read the book- Thats great about the pants though- dont you feel skinny!
