Ellie did her first audition in October (she's 8) for the pantomime in our town (do you have Pantomime? Oh yes you do, Oh no you don't if you don't have panto you now think I'm totally crazy ) well waiting for her to come out was absolute murder, there were over 200 little girls and only 70 places, and she got in she had an absolute ball doing 8 performances over a month and a half. It was a killer transporting her around but I got to see the show 3 times and she was chosen to be baby princess Jasmine and fly on the magic carpet, it was a great experience. Hope your daughter gets the part

I just cant get tooo excited yet about the possibility. So, I cant wrap my head around a plan yet. So... Calling all peeps.. anyone want to take me under their wing.. even if possible the work you do for me might all be in vain..

Ust putting it out there. Oh, and I did join TGM I just havent done anything with it so if anyone wants to help me plan I will give them my name and password to get on there.

We are leaving EARLY that morning! Which section are you wanting to stay in? I like the mansions the best. Did you see that the food court area was just refurbished?

Your cookies remind me of things I have seen on the Food Network. They really look professional. Baking is something that really interests me (Not just because I like to eat my finished products ). I love the whole process of it. I think it is relaxing.

I requested the Bayou section. I used to like the mansions best until we stayed in the bayou. Something about it just appeals to me. Plus I'll have my niece and nephew with me so it would be really nice to have that trundle bed for my nephew.

Thanks - sometimes I think my cookies look really great and sometimes I think they look very "my 5 yr old helped me make cookies". Those were actually some of my favorites. I have always loved baking as well, but didn't get really serious until the last couple years. Cookies are really my thing although I do like making cakes every once in awhile. My dream would be to someday open up a small cafe that sells just cookies. I have the name all set up. And all these ideas - yappy hours where you can bring your dogs, cocktail hours with milk and cookies instead of wine and cheese...tons of ideas. BUT I've decided I should get my master's first, work for awhile to save some money and then maybe in 5 or 10 years I could start my own business. In the mean time, I just take orders here and there from friends of friends or family. It's good practice and I get some money, even though I'm charging such a great price I'm really not making much profit. I just looked at cookies by design website and their minis are $35.88 a dozen which would mean my order for this birthday party would be over $1000 in cookies. I'm charging $75 for 500 mini cookies (10 per bag). And she is still trying to get me to do extra stuff for free. Uh uh. Not gonna happen.

WHOOHOOTY!!! I am so glad you may be coming too! How on earth did you get Pop?! I can help you plan if you want. I am a serious overplanner and love to do it. I am already on TGM too. Who are you going with? Eventer and I have 2 rooms at ASMu that we are hoping to change to Pop, but either way we are already planning our days out. I love this stuff. We are probably going to skip Fantasmic though. As much as I want to see it, I think it may be too scary for DD since she is only 4. No sense making her afraid if I can avoid it.

I have to say also how much I LOVE TGM. His info is really right on and really helpful. Go to his forums and sign up for the sept 2007 vacation club board. The people on his boards are really great too- if you post an itinerary they will tell you if it looks good or not.

I have been dreaming about a cupcake store ever since she opened one on "What About Brian" (not sure if you watch that or not) Anyhow, they opened a franchise cupcake place here called Sprinkles a few weeks ago. I guess they are really big in Hollywood. People here are waiting over 2 hrs in line to get them- at $3.25 EACH But hey, if you want a dozen, they are much less...only $36 a dozen A friend and I went the other day now that the craziness has gone down, and they were darn good...but I can probably make some just as good. All I need is Oprah to say she likes them and I will be all set!

I think you're cookies look so yummy! Invite us all to the opening of the cafe! THat would be so much fun! I used to tell my DH that I would love to open a bookstore with a little cafe in it to serve soup, coffee tea and pastries...this was like 25 years ago. He said that no one would come....AHEm, now Banrnes and NOble with that yummybstarbucks cafe is one of our favorite places to hang out!

They definitely look professional to me. $75 is a steal for 500 cookies! She should be very greatful for that price! I think your ideas sound great! You are a woman after my own heart. If I could have my own business it would be to own a bakery. I have always liked to bake and look at cookbooks. I really want to go to a cake decorating class. I think you have a good plan! With your talent I could see this really working out for you!

No we didnt see it last sept. She was afraid of Mickeys Phillharmagic of all things so we decided not to push it with anything that may scare her at that point. Pretty much anything that remotely looked dark she was afriad of. She didnt want to ride Winnie the Pooh! We got her on and she liked it but she was very cautious about everything after that Mickey movie! She will be almost 5 by the time we go, so I am hoping she will have changed her mind a bit by then.

1.By the time I get done making some of the stuff I am so tried of looking at it I dont even want to eat it! I mean, from mixing to rolling out the dough and then decorating them all it takes forever. It is hard though. This last time when I made the bunny cake, it was a new frosting recipe so I had to taste that alot Sometimes that is enough for me too- just a taste along the way and then I dont even want any more. Other times I throw the diet out the window and go to town....as long as nobody sees me

2. I love the food network Ace of cakes of course, and all the food network challenges where they are making cakes and stuff in competition. I love that stuff. Those people are amazing.

Hi! I hope you don't mind if I jump in here. I love the Food Network! I pretty much have it on all the time. Ace of Cakes is such a good show. I also love Paula Deen. She is so funny! I need to figure out how to bake lower calorie goodies and how to portion control what I make.

I've gained a pound!!!! I think the only benefits I'm getting from excercising is that my fat is a little firmer. I seriously just want to give up right now..yesterday I thought something was following me down the frozen food aisle, nope it was just the reflection of my butt in the glass.

23 lbs would be great if I could ever break this plateau I am on!!!...I did have a revalation today, I am going to try hard all weekend. Tonite I only ate 1/2 my supper and brought the rest home. I think I read somewhere that to lose 1 lb a week you have to intake 500 cal less each day....so use that info to your best advantage this week peeps

Now that we are a grand gathering we can sign up for special events. This sounds like fun! Anyone want to do this? We are tentatively there from 9/20-27 (but more likely 21-26)

I think it sounds pretty cool, and a new way to see the fireworks. I could never afford one of the fireworks cruises, but this seems better anyways! I am thinking maybe the 21st if it is not cancelled or the 24th? I cant remember the other dates of peep stuff. The dinner is the 23rd, right? The one on that night is at 7:45...maybe we could do it after dinner that night? We need at least 8 of us to sign up if we want to do it. My group will be at 3 if not 4 depending on the date we choose.

been there done that - was simply awesome!!! we had a "Pirate" leader and he kept us singing and playing Disney trivia and the music was piped into the little boat so we could hear Wishes while waching it from the water. By far the very Best way to see Wishes (but I have a rule that I HAVE to see Wishes the night before we leave, because it is so very special and makes me cry everytime) If we Peeps were to get a "pirate" anywhere near as funny as the one we had on our trip it would be such a memorable experience. well worth the 40 bucks

Good Morning all, stayed the same, ugh! I am certain Aunt FLo will find me on my trip! What fun!

this just amused me b/c i went to the "girl doctor" back in february (and had specifically calculated when aunt flo was coming and had figured out she was coming while i was at WDW) so i asked her (my gyno, not aunt flow ) what i could do about that. i'm on birth control pills and she suggested that i just start my next pill pack early and skip aunt flo for a month. so i did that last month JUST to make sure i didn't get a visit while at WDW!!!
