Forgot to mention--when Dr. asked if it was a Disney baby--he jokingly said--well that is why I do not see any mickey ears on this kid. I also lost 2 lbs. I guess it was from all the walking at disney.

I'm here sexylexy! No worries! I tried to post yesterday during the day, but obviously that didn't work. I did think to copy & paste and save my post the second time I tried though! So, I will post it here in a minute. When I got home last night, I walked Jasper because we were having beautiful weather again! So, I got in at least 35 minutes of activity yesterday! :thumbsup2 And then I fed her and myself and had to run back into town to pick up my new lens that I ordered for my camera, which arrived yesterday & I had held at UPS. So, then I got home and HAD to play with the new lens, which is so HUGE that I started laughing when I pulled it out of the case! It's ginormous! :rotfl: But it totally rocks! I will post a couple of pics tonight after I get home. Here's yesterday's post.

MORNING SHOUT OUT!!! :sunny:

Thank you for all the salad dressings recommendations! They sound wonderful. I'm gonna try to eat more salad. I'm also gonna shoot for 35 grams of fiber each day. I read up on the FIBER35 DIET that someone said they were on and it sounds like lots of healthy results.

I am trying to get more fiber in too, but I haven't counted it yet. I did start off today with a bowl of Fiber One w/ flax seed, so I am off to a good start today!

STACEY....I'm so excited about the quasi-free dining announcement! Who's going in Sept. if there's free dining?? Besides me, Lynda, Bee, Jo?

UTAHWENDYMAMA.....Glad you found the owner of the ring!!! Sounds like yours will be beautiful. Are you going to WDW for your big 4-0??? Now that you have the Delta discount??

Yes, I want to know when peeps are going too! Our dates are 9/28-10/6. Wendy, are you going for your birthday again?

LYNDA....Don't be stressed about the wedding!!! You'll be fine!! You're a great photographer and this is a wonderful opportunity for you to get your foot in the door on weddings! Everyone will see your DF pictures and want YOU to photograph their wedding!

I am thrilled to be photographing the wedding! I do see it as a great opportunity. I haven't gotten any business from SIL's wedding yet, but I did at least get practice and pictures for my portfolio. So I know I will get that much from this one at least, and that is great! I am just emotional right now about it (wishing AF would take a hike because that might help). I am much closer to my friend than I was to SIL at the time of her wedding, and even now. SIL lives about an hour away and is 10 yrs younger than me. I love her, but this friend and I are really close. She is like a sister to me. I want to dress up for her wedding, and I will have to wear pants because I will be on the floor or on a step ladder at times. I want to pay attention and cry at the ceremony if I should feel like it, and I will have to be paying attention to the camera & trying not to cry. I want to dance the night away at the reception, and I will have to be taking pictures of other people dancing. But the bottom line is...I want to do this for my friend too, so I will deal with it, and hopefully after AF leaves, I won't be such a puddle of emotions about it. I really am happy about doing the photography. There's just a part of me that just wants to be there as her friend. I know that this will get my pictures seen more, and if I could get a paying gig, that would be huge! I am just a mess of emotions about it at the moment.

And thanks to Fidge for you comments on my photography too! :rotfl2: at what you said about the picture of Oliver on his back! I actually had a friend holding a dangly toy above him, just out of the shot, to get him to do that! It was hysterical! He is fat, but has lost a little bit of weight since then. I think we have gotten about 2-3 lbs off him. He was about 14 lbs at his heaviest (not long after we got him from the pound), and the vet said it would be good for him to lose a little. So we put him on light food and gave him cat nip balls to make him run around. :rotfl: I think he is between 11 & 12 lbs now. I wish it was that simple for me! :lmao:

I didn't get to check in yesterday, so I have only read the last page and am working my way back from there. Just a few comments...

There are SUGAR FREE Peeps, Peeps!!!!

I must have them and eat their little heads!

Has anyone tried them yet? Can they possibly be any good?

And because I know you are all dying to know what I ate yesterday:rotfl: ...

B: Fiber One cereal w/ 1% milk & 1 Tbsp milled flax seed & yogurt smoothie(260)
S: 1/4 cup honey dipped almonds (160)
L: SBD wraps w/Jello & light Activia yogurt (300)
S: popcorn (100)
S: SBD oatmeal chocolate chip cookies (100)
D: tuna salad w/ light mayo & craisins on whole wheat (600)
S: chocolate pudding pop (90) (mmmmmm, icy shell!:cloud9: )

TOTAL: 1610 calories & about 120 oz. of water

And like I said, I walked for about 35 minutes with Jasper.

Lynda and Melinda- Ok, I think I'm probably maybe going for my 40th birthday. It's MUCH more likely to be if Free Dining is announced again. We decided on POP. It may be just before my birthday because I dont want to take my kids out of school too much.

We're going to DL this May for DSgoingtobe9's B-day to be fair since we went for DS7's b-day.

Plus May is DSgoingtobe18's B-day too! An ADULT!

September, like I confuzzled said before will depend on FREE dining. Anyone else planning September?

Hi Everybody-I just got back from Disney last weekend, and I think I tried one of everything!I've never had so much to eat in my life.I've been having nightmares of Dole Whips and Mickey shaped rice crispy bars running after me.Can I be a disappearing peep too?:)

Welcome!!:cheer2: NEWBIES!!

Yesterday the DIS was not working the several times I tried it.I didn't stay on the wagon very well and I am really struggling.I expect a big gain tomorrow.I thought about not weighing in but that seemed ..well just wrong.

September??I am going to try to go.I am not sure where the money is going to come from but it would be me,my three younger kids, and my parents. It would be Labor Day weekend plus a day or two.

Alrighty,I am not treally feeling myself so I am gonna go but I will check in later or tomorrow.:grouphug:

We are going in July- me, DH, DD1, DD2, DD1 boyfriend, and my mom.

BUT... I could always make my ticket non expiring and meet ya'll again in Sept. for a few days.

I would like to participate in the peep meet and maybe the "fun run" part of the marathon. Not up to the marathon yet maybe never.

I have been working like a nut to pay for our trip. By the time we go- I really am going to need a vacation. Disney for me isnt the nap in the room kind of trip. I like to be up with the sun and go to bed with the moon. Its an all day thing for me. So I was thinking- after we got back I'm going to schedule a little elective surgery and take advantage of the 4 weeks of sick time I have banked. And spend the rest of my summer relaxing in a lounge chair by the POOL recouperating.

:grouphug: okay first of all let me say i am in udder amazement that i can get on here the last 4 x's i tried they were shut down for upgrades.

Hello all my skinnie minnie's tommorow is weigh in day are you ready to rock !!:cool1:

Just thought I'd post, I havent read anything - so consider this a flyby....

I am an IDIOT!

I apologize to the circle journal, and I wont let it happen again - I'll post on that thread, just giving a heads up...

I have now succeeded in

SUCK IT UP!! (and I need to SUCK IT IN too!!)

its done, its on its way....

and a big WELCOME to the newbies...

dont mind me, I'm just in a crazy place right now, but all is good, all is well!! (just not perfect, and that is what I'm dealing with, I realize, but havent accepted I am a perfectionist at heart, I just cant accomplish perfection, not in this life, not in any aspect of this life, and that is so hard for me to accept. I'm fat, I cant get a full time teaching job, I cant keep my house clean, I cant cook perfect, I cant I cant I cant... but today. I tried. and it worked.

Baby steps!)

sugar free PEEP update
Not one to let the PEEPS down..i went out and bought a pack of sugar free PEEPS. They come in a pack of 3 and at 60 calories ( 1 ww pt!) they seem like a good deal...well..maybe its just me, but i am not feeling them. they are made with splenda so they have a strange vanilla-ish flavor to them and are very sticky. I would say at about 20 calories a piece compared to the reg. ones at about 33 cals a piece..stick with the original..
This has been your peep food review for today!! I am curious to hear what other Peeps have to say about these!

I haven't seen these in the stores yet. I do love my Peeps though. I don't think I'm even going to try them though. The whole pack of 5 peeps is only 3 pts which I am more than willing to "spend" to get a Peep fix.

What WW candy is good is the Whitman's WW candies. So delicious and taste "real". The coconut is my fave but it's hard to find. The mint cremes are great too!

Gotta go - therapy client's here!

Just got back from the post office -

Df (Darlin fiance) or should it be fdil (future daughter in law that's better, she's not my fiance!! ) anyway.. she now has insurance and is getting her wisdom teeth pulled!! So her last meal is going to be here. Tonight. *sigh... I'm making my fav Christmas Eve dinner - Prime Rib, yorkshire pudding, roasted potatoes, aspargus, and homemade rolls... so I'm late starting the meal!!

Bradford I think it was you that posted the storms in WI last night - they were bad here too - I'm just south of Great America.. We had a river running thru our backyard (and no, we've never had a river before!! ) It was an amazing site we could see down 3 house to our right and 1 house to our left and there was a bit of current to it... really strange. The streets were loaded with water, and the lightening was intense!!

So time to get cooking!!

so i'm just curious.....how many of you are american idol nerds like me?

Me too! I love it! We have been watching since the second season.

I, too have been watching since the second season. I  Clay Aiken!

:
By the way... anybody heard/seen Bucky's song they play on CMT?... it is actually pretty darn good.

I saw Bucky's video and was surprised I liked it so much! I wasn't particularly fond of him last year. (I could never understand what he said!) :confused3

This year, I haven't decided who my favorites are. It seems to change week to week.

Hey I'm only about 40 mins. from great America. We have a lake where the park at the end of our street use to be. Good luck with Dinner
