Thanks for all the kind words about the baby too...he is so sweet. I am having serious baby fever too, but the weight has to come off first!

And when they heck did I hit 200 posts? WHOOHOOTY!!

WIDF- You are a young dude. You "sound" older to me. Maybe it's because you seem mature and "with it"!
I am an old soul, so that explains a lot. I like old music, old movies, old cars. I just tell people I was born about 30 years too late.

DO youthink its too early to pack its only 1 month and a few days away, not counting minutes yet!!!!
I am the wrong guy to be answering this, only because I am a very late packer. I typically wait until the day that we leave before getting my suitcase out. But maybe I just don't have as much stuff to worry about. Shorts, socks, shirts, undies, swimming trunks, and my toiletree bag that I always keep packed with travel sized items. That is about all I need for a trip. I can normally be packed and ready to go in under 30 mintues.

What is wrong with my DH does he not want to see me in my best form its win win for him??? Silly ole bear!!!

DO youthink its too early to pack its only 1 month and a few days away, not counting minutes yet!!!! I am so excited for my guys really!!! Can't wait to see look on their faces! Mama got some surpises and even Daddy may like am considering sending DS to one of the camps at the reosrts and going for a crriage ride around the riverside and maybe some boot kicking!!!!

My Dh does the same thing....silly guy! A skinny me makes a happier me and leads to a much happier him! And it is never too early to pack. I love packing and repacking everything. I am an overplanner though, and hate to forget things.

That is what I think, but it is still no fun being in the middle when you know that you have done everything that you could to make sure the kid is being taken care of.

Thanks
You have my support...I deal with parents like that alot and it is never their kid with the issues...it is always the school who they think is the problem it seems. Ugh.

WI my DH is with you!! Can't figure for life of him why I am buying things now?? LOL if you could only understand I am busy finding pixie dust!!! Silly ole Bear!

Score a victory for my little guy, DH just went over to school and DS will be on my van this afternoon. My director of transportation is not thrilled by a message my DH left, evidently he raised his voice and asked so does someone want to tell me how my son is coming home and with who?? She could not undersntad why he was so troubled?? So sad she doesn't remeber thtat 10 yo boys are not 30 yos!

Oh well all I can say is WWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTYYYYYYYYYYY!!! I can now forgive DH for the donuts!!!

!!!

I know that my dh's problem is that he doesn't "get" how hard it is for me to resist food! There can be a bag of candy or box of donuts, and if he's not hungry, he doesn't eat it. But me, I hear the dang thing calling my name!! I never "forget" I have goodies in the house and am plagued by them untill they are gone.

Your ROCK! Keep it up!

BABY UPDATE---went to the doctor today and all is well. At the end of the examination he looked at me kind of weird and said, " Every BODY is different, but maybe becasue you are thinner I can feel more of the baby--but you do not feel like you are 9 weeks-(acutally I am 8 weeks 4 days)-you feel much bigger which would be further along :scared1: THe ultrasound in 2 weeks will give us all the inforamtion that we need." That was it--no more information. He did ask about DISNEY--he knows that we are disney nuts--asked if this was going to affect our annual FAll trip---luckily we were skipping next year anyway--but he did laugh when I told him we were leaving on Sunday. SO we will find ut on when the due date is on MArch 23rd--as of now it is October 13th.

Good nite all.

Good news. Thanks for sharing.

That's a good day, if you go over a few, it'll be my b-day! I have a neice who share's my day as well. It was kind of cool, My dad called to wish me a happy birthday and I asked about my little sister and he said she was in labor. I called her cell, her DH answered and we talked for a few mins as he was going back into the hospital. When he walked into the room, they were breaking down the bed. He was so excited, he couldn't figure out if he should say good bye or put the phone down. LOL! Of course, little Miss Hailey Ann is very special to me and she's spoiled by this baby-missin' mama.

I'm about 2/3 done packing for this trip. I've really been dragging my heels getting it done. I'm not sure why, I'm looking forward to going and seeing friends that I haven't seen in a couple of years. I like to travel. I think it's all the stress I've been dealing with.

I have to share something really coll that happened today. Last week when I was falling apart, I almost drove to a friend's house instead of going to work. For some reason, I knew she'd understand what I was going through. I also felt I needed someone to pray with and since I know she's a strong Christian, I knew she'd preay with me. Well I wound up not going and I'm doing pretty well right not. However, this friend is a client at work and she called to schedule an appointment for her pets for tomorrow. I saw she was on the line and I asked to talk to her. When I told her she almost got a surprise guest teh other day and why, she shared her own story and that of her twin sister. They both had problems getting pg. Neighter one was able to have their first child until they were in their later 30's. She not only understood but we were able to talk about my situation and about God and it really made me feel a lot better. I guess I should've gone to her house that morning, if I had, I might have had some peace a lot sooner than I did. It also helped knowing that there are people that I know personally that have been where I'm at. God works in mysterious ways some days but He always brings us exactly what we need.

PS; notice my new bling? I took the plunge and claimed it. I was hovering between 180-182 when I started so now that I'm down to 170-170.5 I figured I've done well enough to claim it. It makes me feel good too, to be able to see the progress in my siggie.

You are a wonderful person. There are good things just waiting for you and all in God's time.

Ok-I went to see the OB Dr. today. I gained just under 2 pounds for the month. Blood pressure was normal, urine good, and I got to hear the heart beat today. Very strong. I think it's a boy.

I only have a minute before my kids need to be picked up at school.I will touch on what I remember...

Pigget,I hope the meeting went well.Let us know.Oh and my Dr. said something to me about wrong due dates but the dates were right. But the baby weighed 10.4 lbs and was only 20 inches long.He came home in 3/6 mths clothes.

UM,I can sympathize,I gain sooo easily.I used to lose just as easily but not anymore.I will be heading over to read your updated report when I get back.:surfweb:

Mony Mony.glad your visit went well!I think it is a boy too.:goodvibes

Fidge,Yeah!! I am glad DH was able to get things done.I start packing about 2 weeks before.

I have been a little emotional today,my baby turned three today.Well gotta go pick everyone up....

Awww...Happy birthday to your BABY!!! :cheer2:

DO youthink its too early to pack its only 1 month and a few days away, not counting minutes yet!!!!

I'm hoping I don't have to pack for my Christmas trip... hoping to buy lots of cool SKINNY WDW clothes as my "big reward" for being a loser! :cool2:

My Dh too. He has never had an issue with weight so he has NO clue how hard it can be. I cannot reisst the things I love. He can sit next to an open bag of candy and ignore it...with me it is GONE.

The meeting went ok. There are many issues going on here -- another teacher and myself monitor this student in everyhting that the students does--from walking the hallway, to getting lunch, and going to class. The student cannot get stressed and that makes it very hard. Some kind of interaction that I see that is not stressful this student may think that it is very stressful. I have to monitor all interactions this student has and to keep stressful events from happening---I am about ready to put a bubble around this student--I would really like to teach the student ways to cope with the stress, but mom wants all stressers gone. It is public school and that is just not going to happen, but I will try my best to keep the peace. Only 1 more 9 week period to go.

Tonight the teachers in my building are going to dinner and I am going to let them know about the baby. Also, we will be telling our older two tonight or tomorrow night. Will tell DH family on Saturday and going to send flowers to my parents to let them know. Hope that all goes well and my older children are not upset. They do love thier little brother--but I think they may like things the way they are now. DS 12 did make a comment the other day about what Joshua would do when he and DD are gone--he won't have anyone to play with--well now he will.

Fidgie- WHY do DH's accidentally sabotage us with yummy treats? Two isn't so bad, though. Remember, I'm having to start all over again with my 15 full blown wt. gain.....but I may have a surprise weigh in tomorrow!!!! (or maybe NOT????)

I would not recommend my yo yo style of weight loss to anyone! It's SOOOO easy for me to gain and just as hard to lose it again. But I've made Lemonade CRYSTAL LITE out of my lemons and am doing my almost best! :yay:

Bee- How are you doing today?

Are you working it UM? Are you being active? I didn't specifically challenge you this week because I know what a drag it is coming back from a trip, and sometimes just getting back into good eating habits is a challenge. BUT, I will be back on your case this coming week! :rotfl: Good for you on the Crystal Light! :thumbsup2

How IS Bee today? Bee?

NO!!! But I am a bit of an overplanner too. Actually, I end up doing a lot at the last minute sometimes. But I overpack as well. Last time we went, preparations went pretty smoothly. I was ready much earlier than usual, and then I ended up thinking we had forgotten something because it was too easy! :rotfl: I believe we forgot something, but I can't remember what is was.

I am an old soul, so that explains a lot. I like old music, old movies, old cars. I just tell people I was born about 30 years too late.

Yeah, well, I should say that one of those songs on my list is by a local band, Red Hot Valentines, who actuallyl broke up. Sad too, because I really liked them, and they were starting to get some national recognition. They are on iTunes though! :)

My DH does that too! I just don't think guys have as much to think about in terms of packing as us ladies do. DH does a lot of eye-rolling when I pack my shoes. :rotfl:

My Dh does the same thing....silly guy! A skinny me makes a happier me and leads to a much happier him! And it is never too early to pack. I love packing and repacking everything. I am an overplanner though, and hate to forget things.

Me too!

Sounds like things are going well! :) But NOOOOOOOOOO, that baby is a little princess-y girl! :rotfl:

Yes, Pigget, how was the meeting???

And Happy Birthday to your baby! :goodvibes

This morning Tori was HAPPY to go to school :cloud9:  ...I swear I think I saw the heavens part and heard the angels sing.
The times have changed for us old farts....I am just waking up to that

First and foremost....so excited for Tori!!! :thumbsup2

Secondly...We should assume you were not the one singing since you said something about angels voices right??? Because if it was then I am sure you saw her hair part...not the heavens!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl:

Last....the words "old farts " is an old term so by simply writing it....you acknowledge you have previously heard that term..thus have given sufficient demonstration that you are old. Just putting it out there...letting you know...
When is your visit to Shady Acres...Sunset Pines...and the ever popular...Happy Harry's Helluva Last Stop??? :rotfl2:

Seriously...very happy for you and Bee that this is still a place of friends and laughter and pride...

Peeps R Us..

AAAAaaack!! Quick grab your water!! DRINK DRINK DRINK!!! SUCK IT IN - squeeze those bottoms... All this talk of cookies, donuts, food.... I'm going crazy!!! (and I'm guilty of buying the 2 doz Krispy Kremes and being more than happy with just one - or buying a few boxes of cookies and not eating any - but keep me away from a good spread of h'oerdveys and 'tinis.... :cutie: Something with high fat of course... NO NO NO - quick grab and drink down the water!!!! :wizard:

The more I think of this, the more perplexed I get!! How is this the "least" restrictive environment?? IT sure sounds EXTREMELY restrictive having an adult following a kid around - that would've given my son hives - it would have done me a world of good knowing none of those bullies would be throwing him up against the lockers, or throwing his books and lunches on the floor - how I hated some of the years ds went through school, on the hockey team they threw snow at him (off the bottom of their skates) they threw his equipment out of the window, they dumped him in the garbage can, they even threw a lighted match at him - I didnt know, ds didnt tell!! That team won state in the PeeWee division - ds defended the back up goalie, and the first goalie asked me what was making ds tick - "why would he defend any of us?" my reply "character, scruples ds felt it was the right thing to do" - and he(that goalie) had something inside him too, because he didnt have to tell me those tales!

oops i sure veered off topic........................................

Pigget I am so sorry about those parents, I could not imagine my son in a bubble, John Travolta was cute but not really doing it for me the whole bubble concept! Thats what my pregnancy was for! I remeber when he was weee baby I was terrified to take him out. AFter about a month at home as soon as he was Christened away he went!!!!

It is a world with good stressors and and not so good, I am glad to know I cannot hide DS from it! The poor thing will have no tools or ways to cope with any stress good or bad.

Congrats on the wee baby announcement!! I am POSITIVE the children will be over the moon!! The flowers are a lovely idea.

Thanks all so glad to hear I am not the only OVER PLANNER!! BTW Lynda, the thing I always forget is usually my bras or underwear lol!!!!! Never ever DH or DS things!!!!

Sometimes I wonder what goes through some of the parents' heads... for instance, last week I got several emails from a parent requesting work for her son. He's going to be gone on a trip... but she wanted his work 3 weeks before the trip... she wants it by tomorrow so he can work on it during Spring Break (next week), the week after Spring Break, AND then the week he is actually gone. Don't think she realizes how flexible and fluid lesson plans need to be... I know "generally" what we'll be doing in 3 weeks... but it is subject to change.

Thanks for all the  and prayers. Hip is doing better. Just really tired. I have a friend coming over tonight. I am feeding her and she is going to help me with this stupid stats assignment.

WI Disney Fan - First of all my collection ends at about 1989! What does WI stand for? And what is that picture in your avatar, I can't quite make it out.

Please keep me in your thoughts--I have a very confrontational parent meeting today. It is a new student in my class and mom has not been happy with other schools this child has attended and is calling everyone on the carpet for everything that her child appears not to be right. Did not bring student to school today and demanded a conference before student would return. Hope that all goes well--conference is around 11:00. Other than that all is well. Have a good one and lets get to 600 soon so I can be a part of the wonderful milestone.:dance3:

As a director, I get to deal with disgruntled parents and teachers. I hate confrontation. I hope it went well. It is never as bad as I think it is going to be.
