DISappearing Peeps...A fastpass to THIN! Part 2

You all are so sweet with your encouraging words. I'm calm and eager to get it done but I'm also very nervous. I will be sure to get on and let you all know how it went. Maybe not tomorrow night since I'm having it done late in the day. (btw, any idea how long this kind of procedure lasts? My appt isn't until 3 and I wouldn't imagine them staying very late on a friday) But I'm sure Saturday I will be with it enough to post.

And for inquiring minds, I have not heard from my hs friend yet. He just read it today (I've been checking my inbox to see the status). I wouldn't really be surprised if I don't hear from him, but it's only polite to write back IMO. We'll see. Judging from the comments on his page, he is very busy.

Ok, off to get ready for WW. I'm feeling postive that the scale dropped since I haven't eaten anything in about 3 days.

Were yours the small "spiders" or were they the larger ones that kind of stick out for lack of a better word? Just wondering 'cuz I have some of the stick out kind on one of my ankles that I'm going to want to get fixed. What did they do to you?

They were the big sticking out kind. I had a really bad one on the back of my knee. It was really gross to look at. There is a OB/GYN here in town that has a "moonlighting" business. It is one of those fancy laser hair removal/facial places. He takes care of the veins in the back room. It is not as "seedy" as it sounds. I promise this is a totally legitimate business, and my insurance PAID for it! He determined that my veins were defective, so that is how insurance paid for it. I had valium and some other powerful drug to help relax me. Then he uses an ultrasound machine to find my vein that is the "source" of my VV. Then he sticks a laser up in that vein, ultrasounds again to make sure it is in correctly, then he lasers the vein, and it collapses. I wear the compression hose for six weeks, and then the bulging vein is gone. It isn't completely painless, but it is tolerable. If you want more details (maybe I gave too much here), send me a pm.

Thanks Fidge, I needed that! Sometimes I need a slap in the face, even if it is a "virtual internet" one. He really is a good guy, and I am a lucky girl. In fact our valentine cards had essentially the same sentiment in them. It was really neat!

Ok now I just iced the cupcakes and had a nutty moment holy cow get this....I use decorating bags and at the end of each time I fill them I seem to have a knee jerk resonse to cleaning them with my finger and then of course not being wasteful...eat it!!! OMG I amlmost jumped out of my skin! DH came in as I was spitting out the icing into the garbage...he said what are you doing I said OMG I was about to eat the icing he said OMG back, not to me eatting the icing but spitting out good icing ...what can I say??? Get these cupcakes out of here!!!

I had planned to make sugar cookies in the shape of hearts....don't think I can stand up to that much pressure!!! Poor kiddies no sugar cookies tomorow well maybe I still have time to chagne my mind right???

Once, I ate a cookie by chewing each bite and spitting each chewed bite OUT! That was a low point, of many low points! LOL!!!!

I started doing a step class at my local pool - that is the only step class I can handle! At least I'm doing some form of exercise . . .

Back from weigh in - which went very well . I'll probably post close to after midnight since I plan on sleeping in tomorrow.

Anyway, my leader told us this funny story about one of the people in another WW group. This woman's husband ordered a cake to have delivered for Vday at the school where she worked so that all her coworkers could share it instead of giving the whole cake to his wife to stress over eating/not eating. Pretty sweet I think. And he wants to have "You are my reason for living" written on the cake. Ok, now this is sweet.

Fast forward to the cake being delivered at the school where the wife works, being placed on the table.

It read "You are my reason for leaving"

The wife actually called her DH and thought he was actually leaving her. Could you imagine?

I love easter candy!!!! My fav is the cadbury eggs, not the ones with the gooey center, but the little chocolate ones with hard candy shells.............ohhhhhhhh they're so good. But I knew that if I saw them I would buy them, and if I bought them then I would eat most of the bag myself. And I didn't want to undo any good I did at jazzercise today.

I love, love, love Easter candy! And minature Cadbury eggs are my favorite!! Thanks for the reminder!

My aunt had the small spider veins and they injected them with saline solution. They almost totally disappeared.

Once, I ate a cookie by chewing each bite and spitting each chewed bite OUT! That was a low point, of many low points! LOL!!!!

I think I am going to try this with the Valentine candy that has been screaming my name since yesterday!! I know we should do this when we go to McDonalds and we really want a burger and fries!

When I lost a lot of weight a few years ago, I had joined one of those Circuit workout gyms (kind of like Curves) and I did Step aerobics. I loved it because several of us started at the same time, the instructor did like Special Ed. Step for us. I eventually got pretty good at it. But now my knees creak alot!

Ok heres a pathetic thought, was thinking wow, if I go to dentist and get some work done, that means I would get some nice sleep without the sound of snoring in the backround!!!

I thought that too.That was the first thing that came to mind when the Dr. told me I had to have surgery and would need help with the kids.

Thanks Fidge, I think he is a keeper. Actually he is better to me than I am to him. He is so thoughtful. He is very observant, much more than I am. I am very blessed to have him in my life. He is always making sure that everything is in "balance" and that the burden is not weighted to far in one direction.

I had some of my varicose (sp?) veins worked on last year, and the Dr. gave me some really good drugs. I had to stay awake for the procedure, and it hurt at times, but the meds made me not care. It was some of the best sleep I had ever gotten.

I have to have my veins done.They are HORRIBLE!!

Does it look that way when you guys look at it (click on link and see if you see pics)? They showed up before, why would they stop showing up? I want to make sure I am not doing something wrong. Pics take time to post and I have a lot for the trip report. Don't want to do all that work for x's!
