Hey, if anyone here would ever want to chat and has MSN messenger, you could PM me your sign-on. Just a thought! :) I have a buddy list full of DIS people.

Way to go Harley, Dragonfly, and Dismom!:yay: :dance3:

And good job to those trying to get your exercise in!

On an odd note, my trainer was actually nagging me today to take a day off... :confused3 Uuuuhhhh, doesn't he realize, that if I do that I won't have a little heart sticker on every day of the month? For February at the Y, you get a sticker for every day you do at least 20 minutes of cardio... as of this morning, I'm the only person with a sticker every single day.

Sorry I've been a bit out of it... had a drastic mood swing earlier in the week. It started 'cause I REALLY wanted to get below 300 on Monday, but missed it and ended up 301.6. Then on Tuesday, I met with my trainer and he looked at my food diary. I was that puppy wanting a pat on the head for the wonderful things I had done... I took my eating from a 0 to a 7... but he didn't notice that, he only noticed that I wasn't a 10 yet. No "wow, no potatoes, fried foods, sugar, or chocolate for over a month"... instead it was "how about skim milk instead of 2%, how about less cheese, Subway... did you see Jared?, how about cutting out the "prepared foods", how about cutting out the pita pizzas, how about cutting out the turkey burritos." (I honestly think he only saw the words pizza and burrito and assumed they were "bad".) I really don't think he meant to sound mean or unsupportive (subsequently, he has said I'm his star "student" and the most dedicated person he trains)... he just didn't give me the validation I was looking for. Of course, he didn't know me "before" so he doesn't know just how much better I have been... ANYWAY, I ended up crying on the way home (darn, shoulda worn water proof mascara) and that evening when I went to bed.

I've always tended to be on the depressive side with a few manic moments scattered here and there. Well, I HAD been manic for the last month... and REALLY enjoying it... it's WAY more fun. So this week I've been battling through it. Every day on the announcements at school, they say "make it a great day or not, the choice is absolutely yours"... so I've been choosing to make it as great a day as I could... were they fabulous days... nah, but I didn't shut down, I didn't quit, I'm making good choices foodwise, and continuing to exercise.

Okay, got that off my chest... time to go eat a VEGGIE pita pizza... :rolleyes1

You are doing a FABulous job Dene!!! :cheer2: Don't let anyone tell you any different!

My cat is very sicka nd have had the vet over 4 x in one month , DS is haert broken as we lost 2 of his cats to the animals around here. ONe was biten by a snake and died and the other lost a battle with an opussom.

I am considering a kitten for him he just loves them soo, but my sister is very allergic and would not be able to come and stay at the house on vacation. I am so torn, any ideas would help. I can't please eveyone and don't know what to do??:confused3

Sorry about your sick kitty. We got a short-haired tuxedo kitten about a year and a half ago.

DS is very allergic to cats (wheezing, swelling, rash), but Tiger Lily does not seem to bother him. Try looking into a short-haired cat. We also keep her indoors all the time, so she doesn't pick up other allergens from outside.

I am 5'6" and 1/2.. the 1/2 is very important.

Grumpy now has the house clean.. so, I guess he will be joining in the gabfest soon.

Yes, he cleaned the house and vaccuumed also... we dont have a Dyson so he doesnt really "suck" at it.. lol...

Hoep you have a lovely day... I may check ion later.

Oh before I forget...

GET OFF YOUR DUFF and DO 25 SIT UPS NOW NOW NOW....
Seriously, YOU are worth it!! If you have stairs in your home, go up and down, up and down... if not, find a step and do it that way!! COME ON - no excuses now... JUST DO IT!!!

and for goodness sakes... SUCK IT IN!!!

I'll be expecting a full report!! NO EXCUSES!!! ;)

I just did it. Thanks for the inspiration. I was just looking at Disneyshopping.com because they are having a swimsuit sale, and I was thinking I'd like a tankini, but I don't want my tummy pooching out.

Good news! I took my measurements this morning. I've lost a half inch off my hips:mad: but one inch off my waist and one and a half inches off of my thighs (each!) This means I'm getting away from the

look!:rotfl:

Everyone- My DH accidentally left the Annual Pass for Disneyland (the reciept and info.) in the printer! SURPRISE!!!! My family is in Cally where I grew'd up. So we'll get to go see them more often! YAY! More Funnel Cakes.....:cloud9:

OK, we definitely have to plan a meet, because we got our APs on the December trip. It's still coming up in my trippie how we saved big bucks on it.

I just priced POP for Sept. (value season) for 3 nights with two 4-day hoppers and DDP........$1,077 for me and DD17. Does that sound reasonable? Would everyone have hoppers & DDP??

Has anyone done a Grand Gathering?? Are there perks as far as room location? I'll look into it.

Here are the special dinner choices. The one that's best reviewed is the Safari Dinner....2 dinner credits.... really, I guess we could just reserve for a large party anywhere we wanted to go? :confused3

Melinda, isn't there talk of free dining in September? That would cut the cost a little. :thumbsup2 Did you guys know I got Free dining for my 2 weeks in August? See there are some perks to being British. :rotfl2:

What is the easiest race again? Because that is what I'd be doing - Is the 5k the same as the Family Fun Run?

Sorry so long and complicated - I really do want to go but there is a lot going on that weekend!

[/COLOR].

The fun run is Friday morning very early!! We will be getting there Thurs.

:woohoo: CONGRATULATIONS!:woohoo: GIRLS YOUR MY INSPIRATION.:worship: I would like to try a 5k in the near future but every time I mention it to someone and ask if they would like to join me, they look at me like I'm crazy.:crazy2:

Maybe. Just maybe I should ask Melinda.:scratchin

GO FOR IT!!!!! join one if the walking threads and just get out there and go for it!

dene - I agree with the previous advice the you body does need a break, that could be why you didnt lose as much this week...but I do think that you can do 20 a day and consider it taking a break...casue its prolly nuthin compared to what you are used to...nd mr sexytrainerdude, honey he's doing his job. He's showing you that he isnt fluff and he's pointing a hard finger at where you can make improvements. Granted, where you have come from and where you are is a vast improvement, but still his job is to keep you going in that direction...you have set goals for you, he's going to be the catalyst to get you there, and I am sure at times he will have to be tough to piss you off enuff to get yourself there...dont get down, get pumped, you can do this, you are going to do this!!! dont give up!!!:cheer2: :cheer2:

or either he is suffering menareputz syndrome, I hear its going around!

OOOO.....I had a thought! Can you call and book another room for free dining? Tell them you decided to come back in September? I can talk with a british accent as well as the next person!!! :)

Melinda - Jan 10 - 13 was the dates we were looking at and when I called last they didnt have 08 rates yet. The Grand Gathering would be awesome, when you have one you title it so of course we could be the Disappearing Peeps Skinnie Minnie Peep Meet or something of that nature, we'd get tojump to the front of the line(soemtimes they will take a large group at once) and we could do the wishes cruise with captn Hook...lots of fun stuff that we could do, definately when we start calling we need to check into the grand gathering!! They might even try to get us a block of rooms close by each other

I just ate a Dove dark choc that my sweetie bought me...the wrappers have a msg inside, mine said "Keep the promises you make yourself" very fitting for us peeps

ok got a question is anyone going without a DH?? I cannot get DH to go, hoping I will not be the only one solo???

I don't even have a DH so he definitely won't be along. But seriously, I will more than likely be going solo so I'm really hoping for my sake that others are doing the same. I remember asking awhile back and a few people said they were going solo.

Pop totally works for me. Maybe those of us with APs and FL Res discounts could book more than one room to get it cheaper and then divide the costs...make sense? Man I really want to go! I better be able to.

I HEAR YA!! My mom--5'8" My dad--6' My brother---6'2"
I have the two shortest sweetest grandmothers in the world to thank for my genes. :)

How does that happen? I'm taller than my mom, dad, grandparents, dh mom is "petite"... (I'm taller than dh, so I tend to slump) my boys on the other hand are 6'+ we get quite the charge outta teasing each other, they think I"m shrinking!! (and what is up with getting shorter??!!)

Way to go Harley, Dragonfly, and Dismom!:yay: :dance3:

WOOHOOOTY on not quiting, on continuing to make GREAT FOOD choices,,, and continuing to exercise... :worship:

I'm 5'7".

Definately have to work a Grand Gathering cruise!! and hope for rooms together, maybe I'll go lurk on that woman's thread they do a woman's only trip to wdw - we dont qualify for the Free dining (yes Jo, jealous!!) BUT its SOOOOoooo worth it, we're doing dining even if we have to pay for it -

and WOOHOOTY that you are willing to book 3 rooms at a Fl resident/AP discount, dh is trying to figure if we can do an AP

I don't even have a DH so he definitely won't be along. But seriously, I will more than likely be going solo so I'm really hoping for my sake that others are doing the same. I remember asking awhile back and a few people said they were going solo.

:lmao: I'm gonna show HIM! I'm only going to do those 20 minutes to get my sticker! (That's a WHOLE lot less than 100 minutes plus 2 sets of the 11 weight machines.)

Yep, I know... it's his job... he got trained and certified and all that... and his being hot-sexy-trainer-guy and all, I guess I forgive him :lovestruc ... 'specially cause he said I'm his star student (always been a teacher pleaser). :yay:

Sorry it's finished now and do you really want to pay $12,000 for your 2 week stay as we did in 2005? Just to get free dining. :rotfl2:
