10.5 pounds since last weigh in:banana: :cool1:

New weight is 353. I have a new found dedication for losing this weight. I am determineed to make myself a better person for those around me.

WOOHOOO to everyone who has lost weight in the last two weeks.

So how is everyone today???????

I have been so busy that I haven't had any time to catch up on the boards so I have resolved myself to pop in say hi and give up on catching up.

I love you all thanks for the continuous support and I'll be watching.:3dglasses

Glad you are back by the way, we missed your sense of humor!!!!! Now go have a great date night with your beautiful wife! She has been a treasure to me this week. You should go read what she wrote on my dining review! She is gutsy and gorgeous!

Alright, I am usually the one who brings people food. But people have brought us food the last 3 nights. And I am just here to tell you that people don't bring diet food. Chicken and dorito casserole, KFC, and tonight red beans and rice and this amazing chocolate cobbler. It would be rude not to eat it, right!!!! I did not eat much red beans and rice. But the cobbler.....:rolleyes1 the last bite was as good as the first! I think I will go take a laxative with my Lortab!:idea:
 
The person who flamed me apologized. Thanks guys for helping her see the error of her ways.

I did have a Lean Cuisine for lunch. Does that cancel out the donut and the chocolate cobbler?

I understand tha sometimes what we post can be looked at through different glasses and have different meanings. In my opinion some of the things stated in that post were just mean. Yes, she has a right to state her opinion--I just thought it could have been handled a little nicer.

I hope what I said didn't offend you or come across too negative. I definitely think what the other poster was saying was a little uncalled for and unnecessary - and I agree with you that it was mean. I just wanted to say that those negative posters are what hinders me from posting on a lot of other threads.

Shannon, silly, you did not say anything negative at all and nothing that could be misconstrued! No one here is touchy. Heather was just expressing frustration with the not so tactful poster on my thread - not with you! No worries! You are right, I didn't mean to pull us off track with my vent. I was just shocked that someone could take my dining review and turn it into a weird debate. Her last comment was really weird.

Sandy - thanks for your help!!! That poster should just wave her white flag and back away. I already forgave her for being so as Jo would say, "Cheeky"

5 points? Is that a lot? Okay, if I went to WW how many points would they say I should eat in a day? I am 5'2"ish and 164 pounds. (I can't believe I just put that in print - I may have to edit it out later) I want to weigh what my drivers license says: 130.

No more Krispy Kreme donuts. :sad2: How about 1 donut hole?

Hi peeps, I'm back from an entire afternoon at the hospital with DH. He called and asked if I'd come home from work early as he couldn't stand up anymore. We waited for hours to be seen and then went for x-rays. They saw arthritis setting in and thnk his muscle are all stressed out. He can't stand up because he's 'guarding' and his body is trying to proect itself from more pain. Anyay, he's on steriods and flexeril for a week. They warned us that he's going to be moody and won't be functioning much. Yay, he'll be in bed by 8 every night.....(No, that's not a :) thought.)

Anywho......I'm tired and need some sleep. I never thought Dh being ill would take so much out of me.

PS, whoever poted about taking care of ourselves and makng sure we are healthy...... I scheduled a long over due appt with my dr. It's on the 20th.

Stacey, probably around 22 points... handful of carrots can be 1 point... most dinners are at least 5 points... of course so can a bag of 94% fat free popcorn (5 points that is!!)
 
Stacey step away from Tiki poster - I really could tell her seemingly "anger" stemmed more from "hurt" than a need to jab you , but of course the "jab" was all that came through... I tried to compare the fact that many Americans are just as ignorant about America... it just set her off again!! :scared1: ooops!!

Cant wait till Disney Jo chastizes us for not knowing the areas of England - because we all know that everyone from England is just an hour from London.. and there are no beaches in all of England!! :sad2: (that was an attempt at humore btw!!) because we all know that Jo wouldnt respond like Tiki, and that is my point - so many of us should have pride in where we are from, but I wouldnt attack anyone for not knowing where Chicago was... :confused3

My mom is in the 170's and she only has 20 points a day! We do have 35 "flex points" that are to be used as needed at any point during the week and you can also get activity points that can be used towards food if you'd like. Luckily (:confused: ), I weigh more than that so I have more points, but I remember having more points than my mom a few years ago when I hit goal at 130 lbs. Really it is no different than counting calories - you learn what you are willing to spend points on and what you aren't. I try to view it as a game - how much can I eat and still stay within my points? Usually it's a pretty decent amount.

I can definitely relate to his pain. Is he on a steroid dose pack (like you take 6 the first day then it decreases by one each day)? It did not make me moody, just hungry! Having a sick DH is worse than two sick kids IMHO! Try to rest when he does!:thumbsup2

The Lortab is making me loopy. So I think I might go to bed. Although I am not really tired. DH keeps giving me the "you are still on the computer" look. When I got mail from Aries and a call from Bee today, DH was a little surprised. He is beginning to think I might need an intervention. :rotfl2: But when you have a laptop, it is so easy to sit in the recliner while everyone watches tv and dis. The kids are gone tonight and DH won't let me clean anything (it felt good to clean the house and car while he was gone today) so what else is there to do!
 
PS I am still waitin on Dene to Swoop in on us and blow us out of the water with her results this week!!!

Afraid I am but a mere mortal... only lost 2.8 this week. I knew it would slow down eventually, but... darn. Ticked me off. Can I blame AF? ;)

I did fairly well,but will try to get closer tomorrow.I am eating with a group from church tomorrow night and have no control over what I will be having for dinner.The good thing is I am a very picky eater so probably won't eat much.Now I am going to read what I have missed today.

We're making decisions day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute to stay on that wagon (or at least close to it).

I couldn't post earlier... between actually having to teach today and writing up my "teacher self report parts II & III" and then going to the gym, I'm a bit late today.

Been lurking this week... praying for the folks who needed it, thinking happy birthday thoughts, laughing, etc.

I am getting the best Valentine present ever(no it is not a disney trip although that would be cool)my Dh is buying me a 8 wk old Buff cocker spaniel puppy (my favorite dogs ) i get to go see her (my lil' LADY is what i am gonna call her as of now) tomorrow. i am so excited:lovestruc i had a cocker about 10 yrs ago and she passed away suddenly.so sad... this lil girl is just 4wks old right now she has to stay with her mommie so i get her march 1st. i just had to share my news with all my peeps :grouphug: what is it with them moving all the smilies around i am getting dizzy:headache:
