The Tooth Fairy came to our house last night .... TWICE!!!!

My DS7 lost his front top rt. tooth that was hanging in the breeze for weeks and it finally gave up it's hold on my darling squeemish son's mouth. So we put it in a zip lock baggie and stuck it under his pillow for the TF to find.

Meanwhile, my DS8 was eating a jawbreaker and tried to bite it and a formerly very loose tooth came out (a baby molar) YIKES!!!! So we put HIS tooth also in a baggy under the pillow for the Tooth Fairy.

Oh this reminds me of my niece. She is 6 and has already lost one tooth. She had a loose tooth next to it that was hanging by a string but she wouldn't try to help it out. Sooooo it is still there, months later, and doesn't seem to be loose anymore. It's like it re-rooted or something. Poor thing - I just know DSIL is gonna take her to the dentist to have it yanked. :scared1: I was the same way though - held on to those teeth as long as possible. I think I even swallowed one once. Oh which I told her could happen - that she might swallow it while sleeping thinking she would realize the tooth fairy might not come. But nope. She told me that it's ok because she'll just poop it out in a few days. :rotfl2:

They made me leave the light on because (1.) they were a little askeerd that a fairy would be pillaging under their pillows in the middle of the night and (2.) they wanted to catch her in the act!!!!!:rotfl2: I love that they still have magic in their lives!

After reading my first sentence above, did you think the tooth fairy left money twice on the same kid? Like, her DH didnt think she remembered and did it himself? THAT would be sooooo likely. Either that or having the Tooth Fairy plumb-forget her duties (much more likely). Or there was the time the Tooth Fairy gave the $20 in her wallet instead of the $5 because it was too dark and she's dingy. Happy kid, though!

I really lost out one time. DD had 4 teeth pulled at once and told me that the tooth fairy gives $5 for the teeth the dentist has to pull. I was a sucker and felt bad so I forked out $20 that night. If I had only known that the dentist would then have to pull all her teeth. We are on a pre-orthodontic plan and have had to have 12 teeth pulled. WOW that added up. Yes these wre pulled from K-2nd grade. She has a very small mouth. DS has had to have 6 pulled not fun at all. He got his braces right before Christmas. DD still has to have 2 more perm. teeth pulled, but we no longer do tooth fairy--we just give them cash to put towards disney.

Happy Saturday all!

I am inspired to ask that we all do soemthing very important for so many reasons!

WE ALL NEED TO GET A THOROUGH CHECK UP FROM DOCTOR.......THAT INICUDES YOU UTAH!!!!

I had no choice in doing this for prep for surgery. I will be returning on the 1st of March too. I did learn the god the bad and the ugly. I am on meds for my fats!! Thats right my heart does not dig all the animal fat?? Carzy but it is what it is. Honestly no shocker there! My sugars were high and BP normal. Now I am normally low so infact it has gone up! SO I wnat to go back in one month see progress that a scale can't tell me.

WE have a great responsiblity to our families and what the heck would happen if we got sick ?? Ok lets jsut say, they houses would fall down around us and of course we would have to clean that too!!

So lets all do one great loving thing for ourselves befroe Valentines day OK?? Have a heart and care aobut yourself!!! Men and women alike!!!!

Now I will nag and its a fact I can NAG!!!! I love horses!!

So lets really care...............................

OK todays plan doing income tax, making sugar free jello and some tuan salad for myself. WIll make DS the little yummies the chocolate wafer cookies filled with the fat free sugar free whipped topping and freeze those little yummies for his snacks. Will slice up some cucumbers and celeery and mushrooms and keeep in fridge with some low cal dip. For my urges.

BTW I did not snack last night after bedtime. Big hooray here for me, I am plesed with my efforts last night and pray I can start making it a pattern!

How long does it say for a habit to become a pattern?? I am sure one the bright folks here know.

Might I jsut say again DENE CARTER IS MY HERO!!!!!!

Good morning Peeps!
I have a few questions about the Peep Meet. The more I post the more I realize I really want to go. But I will be in my final semester of grad school and my schedule will probably not be definite until just a couple months prior to the meet. Here are my questions:

1) Is anyone traveling solo? I probably would be, and just wondering if any other solo peeps would want to hang out during non-peep-meet times.

2) Is there a designated Peep resort?

3) Is anyone going that is not doing the Family Fun Run or anything in the marathon? With my schedule I really don't want to sign up and not be able to do it, plus I don't think I'm gonna be that fit LOL. Thinner yes, but fit - that's another story!

4) Could someone give me the weekend dates again? Please with splenda on top?

Thanks Peeps - off to do some shopping (aka procrastinating getting any school work done!) Have a great Saturday!

I think I will be going and if I do I will be going solo. I think it is around Jan. 10th--the same weekend as the marathon. DH gave me the ok to go as long as I pay for everything myself.:confused3 If anyone would like to share a room let me know. I do not stink or snore and very neat.:rotfl:

1.) MEEE! I will not be able to convince or afford to take the family along. I really want to go, but I will have to find a buddy to share a room with, or a few buddies, to make it affordable.

2.) I would like to know that too.

3.) MEEE! I dont think I will be fit enough either. I can be a cheerleader though :cheer2:

4.) Somebody has the dates in their signature...not sure who. I know it is early Jan. I am a big help, huh?

Heather, maybe you, me and Melissa should go together. I have not really talked to my DH yet. Waiting for the right time! But it would be perfect.

The Dismeet is the weekend of Jan.10 and we wiil probably go down on Thursday.I know POP has been mentioned as the resort and anybody can hang out with us(dragonfly,Harley and myself) on nonmeet times.:goodvibes I think our DHs are going but we will make them behave and my DH doesn't really like WDW so he may not be with me all the time.Oh and we will take all the cheering we can get.:cheer2:

Pigget DH told me the same thing!!!! Will be also seeking roomate! No snoring though I get that here for free!!!!!

Hi - I wanted to say hi after a crazy, busy work week! I have just gotten Bee to help me figure out how and what to do to link pics. I actually had a good eating week. Will hope to be better in touch next!

DH - Chad - in NYC trip I earned this Dec through Tupperware - ears were bugging him all day and he is going to choke me for putting this up ! :rotfl2:
Disboards002.jpg

This is me and if I did it right - it will be so small you will not be able to make out any features! :rotfl:
Disboards006.jpg

Okay! So now you know...there is hope for cute kids from a chubalicious Gene Pool!

p.s. I was up at the Crack of Bob today as Treyner had a 7 am soccer game and we travel 40 minutes to get there ....up at 5....sooo tired:headache:

Hope you all enjoy the pics - here is a quick bio

I am 35...feel 20...look 60. DH is 37. I was born and raised outside of Minneapolis. Chad was born and raised next to cows in Iowa. We met at college - he played college football. Got maried and had 2 kids in college - graduated on time and am so proud of that. I have 2 college degrees but found my passion is sales and am a Director with Tupperware. I get free cars and free trips to Disney so I love my job. 20 hours a week and can pull in 6 figures if I want. The best part is that if I screw up...I only have myself to blame...did I say that was the best???:confused3

Chad is a low voltage tech - works for himself and full time. He likes Disney a lot but....always is worried about the $ needed for a trip. I am a believer and a faithfull person in all things Disney. Just pray to the Mouse Gods and he will provide. (Of course he will soon take away with interest but who's counting!) He is a fabulous father who is so involved with his 3 kids. Never misses a game and would rather plop down to a movie with them than with a beer at a bar. (well at least 98% of the time!)

Treyner is the oldest and an athletic kid who has left all sports to concentrate on soccer and football. Ask him about college and the only thing he is sure of is playing 1 or 2 sports with a full ride. Who needs a back-up at 16! he is on serious girlfriend #2 - first one was a 3 year relationship - he is Mr. Romeo and is a one girl guy!

Carsyn is funny and loves gymnastics and soccer also. She is the girl though who is in it for the uniform and her friends! She is the social one who also sits back and watches everyone and soakes it all in. Is interested in boys but more from a distance...not very confident because she doesn't have the stick body her friends do. I think she is beautiful but she thinks I am just a mom.

Baylor - he wants to be on Comedy Central. Hockey, football and soccer are okay too but make em laugh...that's priceless. He loves animals...just told me he wants a chimp...DH is taking his own pulse right now! :rotfl: Baylor has girls callin day and night. He thinks they are cute (not as hot as Jessic Simpson or Nellie Furtado or so I am told) but doesn't get why they call...get him on the phone and then say..."I have to go." He is the Cassanova and will never be short confidence.

We are on the go all the time - love traveling to Ireland and Mexico and of course the land of Mickey.

My goal through you all is to drop 100 pounds in the next year. I can do it!! Then comes the fine tuning and lift and suck procedures but in the end...I just want to be happy, healthy and look better than Phyllis Diller.

I look at these kids and are so proud I had any part of who they have became. They are my source of pride and frusteration...but mostly pride. I was never confident in my appearance even at 110 pounds and each of them see value in themselves. Couldn't we all use a little more of that.

Have good eating today...be kind to your tummy.

I GOT IN THEM!!!:cheer2: :cheer2:

I got some jeans for Christmas 2005 that did not fit but I have never taken them back. They became the jeans I was determined to wear.A couple more weeks of hard work I will able to breathe.:goodvibes

Trying to talk DH to renew our AP's in May. It all depends on how the remewal is for DVC members. I know after I taked with about the cost value on renewing now or waiting a year and now would be better 1)DD will still get a child's ticket if we renew. 2) DS #2 is still free. 3) both of theose reasons are good enough for me as far as saving money.

I am very determined to go. I would use my two personal days at work in order to go. I have a 5k at the end of the month to run. I think I can do. Then in April I have a 10k. So hopefully by January I should be able to do the 1/2 marathon. That is my ultimate goal.. I know I need to go ahead now and make a decison on the marathon, but what about the 5k in case I do that instead?

Great pics!! Loved reading your bio! Good Luck!

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
I've got 3 size 10 jeans and 3 size eight jeans I'm so hoping to get back into! It's depressing to buy new (Bigger size) jeans when you have nice new ones in your closet you can't wear!! Keep up the good work!!

If you have a MYSPACE I would love for you to PM me so we can be friends! I need some!
I sent you the link to my page! Find me and come be my friend!!!
Who else is on MySpace? I've linked up with 2 peeps...where's everyone else?

I am sure nobody else is still up, but I just got home from my scrapbooking night and I was pretty good...I did have some chips and salsa. Hope the sodium doesnt make me puffy for my WW weigh in tomorrow morning :scared: On a positive note, I got about 10 pages done. Too bad I am still scrapbooking 2005:rotfl:

You are awesome! When Dismom, Harley, and I scrap, we CANNOT think straight unless we have chocolate chip cookies! We have had incidences where children were called by other childrens names or ages were written wrong in the books, cause we hadn't had our chocolate fixes (or it could have been the wine coolers we were drinking...that is a toss up:laughing: )

You're up to 2005 already!!!! You rock!!!! I'm still in the 1990s!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm with you! In my former life books (pre-divorce), my DD is like 5 (she is 13 now!!!). I had to set them down and start on current stuff with my DBF (mostly because I was feeling overwhelmed at being so far behind, but alsobecause he loves my books and I wanted some with him in them to make him happy). I was doing good for a while, but now I am like a year behind in these...I think I take too many pictures!

Don't count on it! It may not even be the only "fake" dog she'll ask for. My DD13 bugged the carp out of me til we bought the DS dog and then she decided she like the Gameboy SP dog better. Now we are on Webkinz which cuts into MY computer time! And she never stops asking for another REAL animal.

It was a nice thought anyways! You are probably right though...
This morning she brought the DS to me and said "Can you figure out how to feed Daisy...I think she is going to run away!"...and she thinks I am actually going to get her a "real" dog?!?!? :confused3

I tried EggBeaters this mornng...they were ok, but I did have to sprnkle some shreded cheese on them, not alot, just enuff to add some flavor.

I think I need to have my eyes checked...I read this as EatBuggers
Lord help me, I thought you had lost your mind! :rotfl2:

Or there was the time the Tooth Fairy gave the $20 in her wallet instead of the $5 because it was too dark and she's dingy. Happy kid, though!

I remember getting a Quarter from the TF  ...inflation is great for these kids, by it sucks when you are on the paying out side!

She told me that it's ok because she'll just poop it out in a few days. :rotfl2:

Ok, I spit my drink out on that one!!! :rotfl2: That is hilarious!

I really lost out one time. DD had 4 teeth pulled at once and told me that the tooth fairy gives $5 for the teeth the dentist has to pull. I was a sucker and felt bad so I forked out $20 that night. DD still has to have 2 more perm. teeth pulled, but we no longer do tooth fairy--we just give them cash to put towards disney.

:scared1: Holy crap! Poor baby! I hope you make her wear a face mask when she leaves the house to protect that investment!

I GOT IN THEM!!!:cheer2: :cheer2:

I am so proud of you AMERS!!! Way to go!!! :cheer2:

DizneyDawn - your children are BEAUTIFUL! I have a 13 year old DD too!
And I love the name Baylor! It is one I have considered for a possible future baby!

Dene - You are amazing!! Way to go girl!

Dawn, what beautiful kids, you are going to have to lock your DD up to keep away the boys. :rotfl2: Is there a typo 13???? My DD is nearly 11 and looks way more than 2 years younger please tell me she won't suddenly look all grown up. :sad1:

Just showed DD(15) picture of Treynor...she said oooooo he's cute!

What a gorgeous family you have (including you)! No shock that your kids are good looking! I really enjoyed reading your bio. You're very funny, Baylor must take after you!

My dd(13) has the stick body and she wishes she had some curves! Guess 13 year old girls just want to look the opposite of however they do look. My DD(13) plays soccer also.
