DISappearing Peeps...A fastpass to THIN! Part 2

I don't know if it was the japanese but the same thing happened to me on Friday.I had not had any colon blow but ate two pieces of cookie cake first thing on an empty stomach and was in ALOT of pain and ended up in the bathroom.Maybe our bodies are getting used to healthy foods and having a hard time with fat???I have had a hard time with food since last summer when I had to have my gall bladder out so I didn't know if it was that.

WAY TO GO on the not eating before bed-this is one rule that is very hard for me.


Well, mainly I am afraid to get something to eat because I might be 5 pages behind when I come back! :eek: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

I wondered if it wasn't the oil in the food. There was a guy at our table who drank 7 beers! He drank three of them before we even got our soup and salad. :scared1: Well, once he had had about 5 he was joking (obnoxiously, I might add) with the cook about making more fire. Well, he had that poor cook make three additional flames. All that oil got cooked into our food. :eek: This guy was obnoxious by the time the dinner was over. It kind of spoiled the night out for DH and I. It is a shame considering it wasn't a cheap meal. :sad2: Still enjoyed the alone time with DH though. :thumbsup2

A place where support and laughter abound. I can't quote the person who said they were looking for a "fastpass to weight loss" and I knew this was the place I needed to be. I need more exercise -- and while it seems simple, I don't always find the time. My goal to start is to begin walking consistently on a daily basis. Thanks for all the good advice

This is my personal favorite. I work in a ministry office where one of my "jobs" is to package homemade cookies for college visitors every week and well, as you can imagine, we can't give away the BROKEN ones can we? Nice to know there are no calories involved.:)

I like your rules much better than the ones I just typed up for my family. The "rules" go into effect tomorrow at our house.

How long does the flax seed meal stay good in the fridge after you open it?
I keep mine in the freezer and as far as I know it has never gone bad. :confused3

I think you hit the nail on the head! Bodies that don't get much fiber but lots of fat aren't used to the changes and rebel. The all fat/no fiber thing had the same effect on me at Christmas when my body had been used to eating healthy. Keep up the fiber and you'll feel lots better soon with no bloating.

YESTERDAY....

Not bad. I had lotsa the pork roast and packaged up the leftovers into little homemade lean cuisines. I just don't drink enough water on the weekends.

I'm workin today, so up and out, and as an aide, I may or may not be able to access computer... :confused3 Hate subbing for aides!! (whine whine!!)

DA BEARS always.. hope the press goes after them as losers, naturally Manning is more consistent than Grossman... gotta luv the game!!

Flax Seed DH buys this all the time, he buys whole grain, and he has a small electrc coffee grinder that he puts the seed in, grinds (maybe 2Tbl) and sprinkles on his cereal, oatmeal, everyday, he has a glass container, like a ball jar, but the lid flips and has a seal he keeps it in, he never refrigerates it - but then he doesnt buy it already ground... he keeps it right next to the jar of coffee...

Where's this Peeps Groundhog btw?? 2 Weeks to the Girlfriend convention...

got on the scale, gained 3#'s, so no dinner last night for me! (ate lunch at 2pm at TGIFridays... ) and I also dont know how to get to Bally's while working during the day! (oh, I'm whining again, and getting excusey all over the place - someone stop me - pull me back... I can do this, I can do this... Oh help me Lord do this...)

PS Anybody know where I can find help to edit a paper with punctiation mistakes? I thought I could get MS Word to help, but it didnt help with known obvious mistakes!!
 
My Goals this week: (thanks for the reminder Melinda)

1. drink diet Pepsi only when withdrawl headache is coming. Drink "water" ! About a gallon or more throughout the day.

2. not to eat before bed (a BIGgie!)

3. go for a walk or do DVD's (another major biggie)

4. No white (anything) just wheat!

5. Kick up my motivation a notch!

6. lose 1 pound!!!! maybe more!!!

I am going to just jump back in without catching up (I would love to laugh at all your sheninangians but in my skinny minnie heart I know I don't have time)

My DDs surgery last week went well. Time in the OR went smoothly. Procedures accomplished. She is healing nicely... and recovered enough to go to pre-school today!:cheer2: Thanks for all the prayers and pixie dust. I do appreciate the kindness of all my imaginary friends.:goodvibes

I dealt with the stress and the long hours away from home and following relief by eating like I am a 72 lb boy going through a growth spurt. It was bad. No exercise. No water.

So I pledge to be good Monday through Friday! I will drink water! I will exercise! There wil be no fast food in my life this week!


I am leaving for WDW on Saturday :banana: with my little kids... they don't have a clue!!!!!:laughing: I need to start the stealth packing today! But first a stealth trip to Target because going on a trip always involves new socks for someone for some reason:cutie:

YEA, Twinkie is going to WDW again! Yours was the first TR I ever read. I am still waiting to find out if you ever ate in the castle? Where are you staying?

Lynda - Loved your pics. You must have a great camera. Your Disney pics are beautiful! We went to Door County when I was in high school. I would love to go back.

1. exercise at least 4 times ( cardio and toning!)
2. stay on track of my under 1300 cals a day
3. drink that H2O!!!
4. Stay positive!

I have finally caught up with alot of the postings before my time...my what a fun, supportive group we have here..thanks for letting me in! :goodvibes
OH I did do a "recipe makeover" this weekend with much success...i had a box of that pumpkin "quick bread" by Pillsbury and instead of using the veg. oil I used applesauce and i even threw in a cut up banana...and voila..perfectly moist, MUCH lower in fat and delish!

i need to jump on that flaxseed bandwagon! :yay:
 
Good Morning Lovelies!!! Everyones looking rather healthy this am!!!

OK today's plan was to have a bowl of colon blow...sadly no need as I picked up a stomach bug and DH too! Had a bowl fo mushroom soup last night and have not been doing so well.

Did call Dr office like the big brat that I can be and yes I did reschedule I will go in on Wednesday. Dh nagged me all weekend long about it. Ok Saints lost congrats Bears fans! I had a pt job interview set up for this am but have to reschedule and Dh thinks I should wait till after Wednesday, the man doesn't get it. I need Disney dollars for April!!!!

I am trying to see if I can put soem green together and bring neice and nephew with us too! That would be wonderful!

Yesterday was rough with stomach so I just too my hand weights into bed with me and did arm and leg exercises nothing thrilling jsut streching stuff but at least I felt as if I was doing soemthing rather than laying there like a blob!

I have a feeling DH may come home earlywith his stomach too! OMg I woke up with like 4 cold sores on my lips ICK!!!!!

I think today will be spent under the covers and snuggled with my pups. OMG cat has a real bad cold need to call vet. WEnt to petsmart and OMG I am worse than the kids I just love cats and wanted to take home this really grumpy looking one!!! He was not happy to be there, DS said OMG he makes the same face Daddy does when you say ....Honey I had this idea.....I almost lost it!!!

OK so nothing eventful but I better lose a pound for feeling so crummy!

OK - I'm ready for my 1st official week! (Yes, I'm really behind - no pun intended! LOL! :lmao: )

My Goals for the week!

1. Avoid the calling of the cheeta - Chester Cheeta that is. NO CHEETOS for me. :sad2:

2. No Pepsi! (Would it be terrible if I treat myself to one can of Pepsi on the weekend?)

3. Drink more water.

4. Actually turn on and use the treadmill, instead of just dusting it.

5. Design a weight loss chart/spreadsheet with realistic goals that I will, with any luck, be able to attain. I know this is going to take a loooooong time to accomplish, but I'm ready for the challenge!

Morning Peeps! My my, but you all were busy yesterday! :rotfl: No time to catch up, so :welcome: to all our new recruits, hope everyone is having a healthy week, and hugs to all for the challenges before us!

I can't say enough about the diet I've been on: I call it Feel Too Lousy to Eat! :rotfl: The antibiotic I've been on makes my tummy feel all full and not-so-happy, so I've pretty much been eating vegetable soup for a week. Shoot, I'll take it! The trick will be maintaining the weight it's gotten me to and trying to lose a few more pounds.

My goals for the week:
*No glass of wine with dinner - that's 100 calories saved each time!
*Now that my congestion's clearing, yoga or a mild walk each day
*More veggies, more veggies, more veggies!

OT: last year my DH lost 40 pounds by doing this:

A. didn't "drink his calories" gave up regular sodas. POOF, that was magic for him!

B. Ate smaller servings.


That's IT!I dont drink ANY calories and eat smaller servings. I want my POOF too!

I just want to feel good. Normal is more like it. Almost there. Really.

I did a nice 48 min. w/o on the tread mill yesterday.

My goal is 4x's a week on the tread mill.
