I don't know what a bio break is......

Maybe I'm just behind the times. I am getting old afterall......I have teenagers so I have to be an old fart.

Thanks anyway, maybe another Peep knows, Melinda where are you because you know everything!

I don't think I'm going to hit 1000 tonight as Deperate Housewives is on in 15 minutes and I will actually stop Dissing for that, there's not many programmes I do that for. :rotfl2:

:rotfl: Desperate Housewives is good. I haven't watched this season. We will have to catch up when the DVDs come out.

Here's a random picture for you Jo.

Well, I teach biology which is "the study of life" 'cuz bio means life and ology means study of... but I don't know what the heck a bio break is :confused3 ... unless it is literally a life break...

I could use a break from my normal life right about now... February bites for teachers. :hippie:

Awwww, how cute? Will Jasper go out and "do his business" in that kind of snow? My first dog (a sheltie) wouldn't go outside unless she saw green grass. :confused3 :rotfl: We had a freak blizzard in '93, two weeks after DS was born, and my DH had to use a broom (we live in the south, we didn't have a snow shovel :rotfl: ) to clear away all the snow so that Mandy could go potty.

Your snow pictures are just lovely. Glad to see what "real snow" looks like 'cause we don't see it down here. :sad2:

I have a friend who had the opposite problem. When she got her lab it was Oct and they already had snow on the ground. (Gotta love South Dakota.....) They trained him to go outside to potty and in the spring, he didn't know what to do in all the mud and grass. He would go outside and find the tiniest patch of snow and potty on it. She said he was freaking out when he couldn't find anymore snow. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

:rotfl2: That's funny!

And yes, well, she will potty, but she has NOT been pooing out there the last couple of days, which is a problem because if she does it in the house, and we don't catch it VERY quickly, she eats it!:scared: :crazy2:

And no UM, she is NEVER ANY trouble AT ALL! :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

But she does like to play in the snow. See?

Ears flapping and everything. :rotfl:

OH! Almost forgot to post the challenge today!

UM, can you do 30 minutes??? Doesn't have to be all at once. Come on, I know you can! :goodvibes

Who else can do it???

Fly by :yay:

:rotfl2:

and Dene??? Teachers here in Feb have it good!! *wink *wink!! (all those holidays = 3 weeks of only working 4 days... of course it includes the ISATs, conferences, and a Party or two in the middle of the week!!) and its a short (thank goodness) month!!

Bio Break doesnt make any sense to me either - we have potty breaks :confused3 bathroom breaks :confused3 restroom breaks:confused3 but a Bio Break? wonder if someones pullin her leg?!!

CUTE puppy Lynda - and MHL, we had the same thing with our dog - we got her from the pound, she wasnt a puppy neither, but by golly that was a hard spring - dh was afraid I was going to grind ice and put it outside for the poor dog!! (she was so sickly when I adopted her, I actually got on my hands and knees begging her to eat, I tried several kinds of dogfood - she had been abused in a former life - sure miss her!!) *sniff *sniff now I want a dog again!!

Anybody ever make white aspargus? I know its the same as green, but grown without sunlight, but it was all the 2 grocery stores had when I went looking!!

and peeps, I'm being very very good, or very very naughty... whichever way you want to look at it!!! :rotfl2:

Wonders10- I used to be a Dental Assistant so I can say on full authority (;) ) that you'll be just fine on friday! It wont hurt till later....where you'll have Rx pain meds on board to help. You WILL lose weight, just to look at the bright side! (I look at the bright side for the stomach flu too)

We'll be with you, your peeps in spirit, holding your hand.

Here's a few tips for you!! BRING Ice paks with you!! Yes, that sounds redundant - but seriously, grab a cooler and put 4 or more of those reusable ice paks FROZEN... and when you finish like UMA says, you'll luv those drugs... but when you get in the car, immediately get and keep those ice paks on your face!! Expect to look swollen -

Also, pre surgery, have on hand your favorite yogurt, and soft foods, you wont want anything hot, but yogurt, pudding, jello, cottage cheese, blended foods - - be prepared!!

See if you can get the pain medication PRE SURGERY - ie, if you can have the drugs BEFORE surgery, then after surgery you wont have to stop to get it filled!! (this was a tip dh's oral surgeon does!!)

I have no reason why my post which I made after Melinda did her summary, showed up here!! at a LATE time!! I took a long nap, dh took dd to school, and I fell fast asleep!!

Thanks :goodvibes ! And thanks to all of you that I didn't quote. These are some great suggestions. There is a part of me that is looking forward to getting them out and knowing that the source of all this pain and miserableness will be gone. My biggest fear though is being conscious to know what is going on during the procedure and feeling it as well during. Oh and dry sockets. Those things freak me out - I've heard horror stores. UtahMama - could you give me info on those? I wonder how much a wisdom tooth weighs...:rolleyes1

School was so so today. My school therapy supervisor was a huge pain as usual and I'm actually starting to feel nervous about my grade. But my other client went very well so then I wonder how much of the problem is her as well as me? Ugh, whatever - I'm not worrying about her til next week.

Hope everyone had or is having a nice Valentine's Day. My mom gave me a small box on chocolates (4 in a pack) for after weigh in tomorrow night (we always have a little treat after weigh in) and and she also gave me some scratch off lotto tickets. That has sort of become a tradition around here for most holidays. Although she should just stop wasting her money on me because I never ever win anything - not even a free ticket!

A quick question, my Sister deals alot with the US and keeps being told we're going on a bio break is this a posh term for toilet or something? And where are you guys, I'm going to bed soon and running out of stuff to read!

I've never heard that term before! :confused3

Here's what wikipedia says about bio break..............

Internet slang Biology break", also known as going to the bathroom. Typically someone will type "brb bio", meaning "be right back, taking a bathroom break"

Maybe it's one of those things the youngsters are saying!:rotfl2:

Aries, thans for the goodie I got in the mail today! I think I'll put it on my wrist and snap myself with it whenever I'm tempted to eat something I shouldn't. ;) It's so nice to get mail that isn't a bill!
