DISappearing Peeps...A fastpass to THIN! Part 2

For the last year and half during Christmas and after we have been looking for nice stocking holders. WE had four but needed five. While at Dinsey this past Thanksgiving we could not find one we liked. Then on Disneyshopping I found mickey stocking holders and we ordered five. DH just reminded me that we are now one short again. Wish me luck that Disneyshopping still has these. Off to go look for one.
 
Lynda & UM - I can so relate to the not wanting to exercise. Lynda, I think this may be the piece of your puzzle that you are missing. When I lost all my weight on WW (the first and most sucessful time) exercise was the key. I had eaten well before, but not exercised. I had exercised like a fiend before, but didn't eat healthy. I never got any substantial weight loss doing either of these plans. It wasn't until I put both of them together, that it worked. The weight literally melted off. I started on my birthday in April. I was a lifetime WW member by Labor day. I had lost 28 lbs. in that time frame.

Now I have a husband and two dogs who really enjoy going for walks at night. Last night was cold, and I didn't want to walk, and my DH said "Ok, I'll go without you." Not in an accusatory way, just matter of fact. Well, I felt guilty, and I walked with him. I felt so much better afterwards. It is a benefit to all four of us. The dogs are much better behaved after being exercised. We sleep much better after having exercised. Plus this our "reconnect" time of the day. We can talk about what happened in the day. I am lucky because I have DS (13) to stay home with sleeping DD, so I know this isn't helpful to everyone, but you need to find a buddy to exercise with. I had a walking buddy back in my WW days. It really helps.

Sorry, I didn't mean to type a sermon here. I was just trying to give you some helpful insight. Now I am preaching to myself as well. I need to do better with my eating, and that is where y'all come to play in my weight loss goals. :)
 
Sorry so late today, but I am up .8 this week. It is not a shock considering the week I have had so I am ok with that. I will get back at this after having a pity party for myself, which I accomplished today ;) My DD was finally feeling well enough for preschool today, and I took myself to a movie. ALONE. Nobody telling me what to see, where to sit or commenting in my ear. It was heavenly. I ordered popcorn, which was sort of my lunch and I only ate 1/2 of it so that was a major accomplishment for me too. So now I am feeling more like myself and have let some of my stress go for the week. I am heading to exercise too in a few....I am ready to get back on track!

Congrats to everyone this week. Losers, samers and gainers. Being honest about it no matter where you fell this week is the hardest and most important step.:cheer2:
 

After the last week I've had, I'm refusing to step on a scale! Since my family went home tuesday night I have been in a real rut and it doen'st help that I have pms to go along with it. I tried to have my pitty party wendsday, but kept getting interrupted. So I've spent the last day and a half refusing to answer the phone. I have tons of work and other things piling up but I can't even begin to pretend I'm ok. Does that make sense? Anyway, tomorrow I will make myself be happy! :rotfl: I've promised my daughter Bailie a trip to the mall, which is over an hour away, we were sopposed to go last week but with everything that happened we had to postpone till this week. So my goal is tomorrow I will pin on my happy face and join the living. Ok, that was a bad choice of words!:) Anyway, now that I've whined so you all know I'm still here. Oh, and by the way, a bag of mini snickers doens't help with the heartache, neither does popcorn or chips, or carmels or..........................
 
??? regarding Sparkpeople and calorie counting; I just input a recipe for a dessert thinking it would be like all of my allowable calories for one day in each serving and when sparkpeople firgured up the calories it came out really low. How accurate calculations are. Also, maybe I didn'y put the ingredients in correctly. If I am using the large box of instant chocolate pudding and mixing it with 2 cups milk-how many of the ready to eat packs would that come out too? I don't buy the ready made so I don't know how big they are? Does anyone know?

The Hunt's snack packs are 4 oz. each. Hope that helps.
 
I know what you mean about the exercise! I understand how you feel! I know I have said that before. The thing is, once I start doing it, it won't be so bad, but I have a HARD time getting going - a very hard time! Time is one of my issues when it comes to this too. UM, let's promise each other we will do something today for, I don't know, 20 minutes? SOMETHING! I know we can both do it. We have to commit! What do you say?

I got my ultrasound report today and all is normal. It's measuring 5 days ahead of my LMP. So, that makes me think, one I'm having another big baby and two, the x-rays I had should not be a big concern cause the egg was just getting fertilized or traveling to adhere somewhere.

All other tests came back normal too.

You are an angel too! We need nice sermons once in a while. I KNOW, I need to. I have to!!! At my age and my yo-yo history, it's IMPOSSIBLE not to!

No don't quit! We are here for you! :hug: Just tell yourself, that this week you are going to change one habit that is sabotaging (sp?) your weight loss goal! It could be that you need to drink more water, or you need to eat smaller portions, or exercise more. Whatever it is, just change one, and see what happens, but don't quit. You would be missed. :love:

If I can't find what I need to add for the recipe, I add a food manually. You can get the box and put in all the figures you need. The only thing to remember is watch the serving size! If the box says it makes 4 servings, multiply the calories, fats, carbs & proteins by 4 as they always give you the totals for 1 serving! Good Luck! :thumbsup2

OK job interview update ready............HOLY COW I GOT BOTH JOBS!!!!!NO joke the real estate one, said she had other candidates that had realty exp but she said there is just something about me!!! :lmao: YUP I AM CRAZY!!!

The hotel got that one too!!!:rotfl: YEs I now will be working 3 JOBS?????? I will have no time to eat!!!

DS is singing tonighit at our Wilkes Barre PEnguins hockey game with his chorus! WE are going to dinner first at Johnny Rockets and I went on line to check out the menu first so I don't get paralyzed by the menu!

I can now afford I hope.....another trip to DIsney hopefully around Christmas time and maybe soem work around this house. Maybe some smaller size clothes too!!!:cutie:

I TOTALLY understand!!! After staying the same for a 3 weeks, I finally lost a pound last week, but gained 2 this week!!! :mad:

It would be alot easier to just give up, but then that wouldn't be good either! I usually ask myself if I am happy where I am now. (no) So since I want to be happy with myself, I can't give up, because the alternative is to only get heavier, endangering my health and physical well being and being miserable.

So, that is why you are here. We WILL do this together!!! :love: :banana: :hug: :grouphug:
