Hi there,

We are off to DLP in June as part of a wider holiday and we have two people with us with disabilities, one is my 71 year old Uncle who has learning difficulties and the other is my son who is 12 years of age and has classic autism. Does anyone know if there are reduced price tickets for the parks and if there is how do we get them.

Thanks,

Bambi

Bambi,
Good luck on your upcoming trip to DLP. Yes, there is a very generous offer for the companion of the disabled person.

You will proper ID for said disabled person along with a letter from the physician with the disability on it.

Disney is magical.

Could you tell me what disney would require as suitable disability id and were do you get your tickets from

You must have a letter from the child physician stating the disability. You get tickets at the ticket office outside of the gates to Disney. I know that sounds vague but thats all I know.

We had to present a letter to the girl at the booth when we got our first tickets. We had our son's passport with us for ID. I paid for DS and received mine under the companion policy. Then we went to city hall for an assistance pass.

I hope this helps.

You need a note from the doctor saying what the disability is. The note needs to have a date and the doctors stamp on it, they can refuse the note without the stamp.
The note can not be older than 3 months, i always get my note a month before i leave.

If you have an AP you can get the EAC(Easy Acces Card) at Bureau Passeport Annual..
If not you can get the EAC at City Hall

They will give you the matching EAC. There are, as far as i know, 3 different kinds of EAC's. Fisical disability, mental disability and i believe the last one is for children.
They all have there own color and symbols.
With the EAC you will get a book where all the information is in. They have maps of all the lands with the attractions, next to the attraction description are the symbols that can enter that attractions.

Not all attractions are allowed. Some symbols/handicaps are not allowed in some attractions. But the book gives a pretty good list of which attraction you can do with a handicap.

I hope i explained it well
