Disabled parking at parks and universal hotels

Hi when we went last year the disabled parking was right at the front of the parks,
I heard that they then added preferred parking since I last went, is the disabled parking now back further then it was,
So is the preferred parking first and then disabled parking after that? Or is it all together?
I'm just wondering if it's going to be far to walk each day, whether I'll need an ecv or if it might be better to pay preferred in the days i don't want to use an ecv.

Also were staying at universal royal Pacific for 4 nights, do they charge for disabled parking? Or is valet parking free like disney resorts? I know normal parking is $22 a night.
And I'm sure there is probably a limit to how long valet is anyway.

Handicapped parking is in the same place it was.

They previously had AAA parking areas that guests needed an AAA (American Automobile Association) parking pass to use the area. That relationship between Disney and AAA ended; those parking areas are being used for the 'preferred parking'.

The different AAA chapters had different requirements to get our. There was also a big 'market' in people selling them on or passing them on to friends. I don't know if that had anything to do with AAA parking ending.

For the question about parking at Universal Royal Pacific, it's probably best to contact the resort.
Places can charge the same parking or valet fee for guests with disabilities as they charge everyone lose.

In my experience, many resorts/hotels all over the US often waive valet parking fees for guests with handicapped parking permits. The biggest reason is their parking lots are large and handicapped parking is relatively far away. If they offer free valet, they don't need to be so close.

Thanks so much that was the info o was looking for,
I have emailed the resort but haven't heard back from them as of yet.
I know a good few years ago valet was free to guests with a permit but it was a while ago.
I'll wait to see what they say, I'm happy to pay for valet if need be.

1) Like many other sponsorships they have lost, it is strictly money and return-on-investment for companies.
2) Many companies found they did not increase business by paying Disney. *
3) Too some companies, Disney doesn't hold the same cache for their customers or potential customers that it was had.
4) Other companies went bankrupt and couldn't justify the costs when they exited the process. (eg. Kodak). **

* Look at the changeover (revolving door) of sponsors in Future World.
** Kodak sponsored and paid-for the picture spots, the camera shops, and ALL of the brochures/maps. Of course, Coke still GIVES all the fountain syrup to Disney for free.
