Disabled Badge Application

Hi - has anyone made an application for the temporary permit online?

We go in December & would prefer if we could sort out before we go. If anyone has any hints or a link I would be grateful.

I'm pretty sure there is no facility to apply online, you can call and give your payment details then fax or email copies of your documents and the permit is sent out by post or apply in person at a tax office. We've done both and either way is pretty straightforward.

if you look on the disabilities forum there are lots of people that have done it and loads of advice onhow to go about it !! Ill dig out the info i have on it and get back to you but seriously worth a look on the disabilities board !!

If you email them to say that you are a blue badge holder and you would like to apply for the temporary parking permit (Tag) they will email you back telling you what you need to do .
If you apply by email they ask you to scan both sides of the blue badge and your passport as well, other information that is needed is your name address and telephne number.
When they have recieved this they will email you again to ask how you would like to pay for the permit ( Tag).
If you wish to pay by credit card you can ask for the direct number to call to give it to them over the phone.
Once you have been given your Tag it is valid for one year.

Just an update - sent an email with details required, the tax office replied same day and I made payment the day after. That day they confirmed the tag would be processed and posted
