Hi all
When we went a couple of years ago with my husband we were able to obtain a disabled access card.
Please let me explain so that you don't just think we are against queing as not, I have been lots of times and always just que, very English at queing. DH has got no kidneys, heart condition, neurological disorder (awaiting diagnosis this Tuesday, fingers crossed that not bad news) and he also has mental health issues. He is not able to stand in one place. Some days he struggles to even walk. As we have been many times and DD is older she goes off with her friends and we meet up for some rides/parades/shows etc. She really want to spend time with DH this year though as he has been very ill and spent most of the year in and out of hospital.
Can anyone please tell me how do you obtain the disabled access card, is it the Town Hall, sorry can not remember.
Also what documentation do we need to obtain this.
Also can you stay with all your party or are you limited to just disabled person and 1 carer?
Any advise gratefully recieved as so looking forward to this holiday. I know it is going to be so very special. It is my birthday and our wedding anniversary. Just hoping DH stays well for it and is able to remeber it, one of the side effects of the neurological disorder.
Sorry for rambling.
