I am a cast member, who gets my disabled son into the parks on a guest pass. As a result, I had to stand on lines to get him a DAS every day.
But, I can live with that inconvenience, of course.
TODAY, at Epcot, the Guest Service CM gave my son a "Disability Access Service keycard", and it is good for 60 days. WOW. He said they are usually used for kids under 3, who do not have a pass, (to assign them to a DAS, so their party can be linked to a child under 3). He said now they are offering them to a CM's guest, using a guest pass, with a disability that uses a DAS.
This is really helpful as tomorrow I think I can skip the DAS line. (we will see if it works at the Studios in the morning). (I realize this situation does not apply to many people.)
