On mousesavers today it says the 50.00 stateroom credit you get if you pay for a cruise using a Disney Visa has been extended until 9-30-06. On the Disney Visa site it says the offer expires 12-30-05. Has anyone gotten the credit for 2006? We are already booked on a cruise for Jan 2006 would we have to cancel and rebook to get the Disney Visa credit? We currently have a 25.00 stateroom credit for booking online.

Did you book using your Disney Visa? If so, you should just be able to get it. That's what I'm banking on, anyway! I had a bit of trouble last year when they hadn't given my my DV credit - one phone call to Guest Services on the ship and it was taken care of. People should check when they get onboard to see if their onboard account was credited. :magnify:

can you get it if you pay for part of it with your visa? I booked onboard and have a balance that I have been paying off and was wondering. tia

Update. DH got an email today about the stateroom credit from Disney Visa. I called DCL I spoke to Marilyn. She said that when we make our final payment using the Disney Visa we will get the $50 stateroom credit. She also said she made a note on our account about it. She did ask if the deposit was made with the Disney Visa. I got the impression you had to use your Disney Visa to pay for the entire cruise to qualify. It wouldn't hurt to call and ask.

Pea- N- Me,
I have a question to ask you. Did your reservation show the $50 stateroom credit for the visa offer? Just wondering. Our reservation shows the $25 online booking credit. Thanks for the heads up. I will definately check onboard to make sure we got it.

No, I don't believe it did on either of our cruises. But on the first cruise it was on our account with no action from me. The second time it wasn't. I'll call about this prior to our sail date. We booked our upcoming cruise onboard our last so we'll have the $200 and the $50 stateroom credits! :cool1:

So you were able to get it for an existing booking? I booked for 5/06 with my TA a little while ago, and I was afraid I was going to have to cancel and rebook to get the onboard credit. I'll have to work on this...

I could be wrong but I thought DCL only allowed one credit. Meaning if you had the $200 credit for booking onboard you couldn't get the $50 Disney Visa credit.

The new credit information I saw for 2006 said new bookings only. I did pay my deposit last September with my Disney Visa, and when I double checked the price has gone up $760, so it would not be worth rebooking for 2 room at $50 each if I had to pay the going rate. If I could get the $50 per room credit, that would be great.

yeah I doubt I will get yet another credit since I got the $200 for booking onboard.

I asked if we would qualify for the Disney Visa stateroom credit. CM I spoke to said yes as long as we had made our deposit with the card and paid the balance off with the card. I was going to cancel and rebook if we didn't. The price of our cruise hasn't gone up. A $50 credit is better than a $25 credit. The online booking offer said it was combinable with other offers. I am hoping we will get both. I am nervous that we won't get the Visa credit because it does say new bookings.

DV did offer a $50 on board credit travel thru dec. 31, 2005,now it seems like they exstended the dates, if they exstended the travel thru dates into 2006, i cant see why not you cant get the $50 credit. If its a new offer then you may have to cancel and rebook, if you booked thru DCL, then give they a call and mayube they can suggest what you should do. :)
