Hello Everybody

As explained in the chit chat thread, I am so sorry I havent been about, there are a number of factors, an ongoing illness for me, mum not too well and working full time in retail at Christmas is about as busy as it gets.:surfweb:

However time to get back dieting!:ssst:

Im not going to lie to you, I have been dreadful, Ive put on nearly all the weight I lost last year and then some!:bored:

Im totally miserable that I have allowed that to happen, and because Im not clean eating its actually making me feel ill, so this week Im rejoining class and Im getting back on it.

My weighday will be Monday evenings, so I shall do a new post every Tuesday Morning if thats ok with you.

Aw Sue, my sympathies, but if you can do it once you can do it again, you'll soon lose it.

I think I'm going to join in this year - the last three years I start getting serious about losing weight when the summer clothes come out and each time I've been happy with what I lose in time for my holiday then get a bad attitude when I get back home and it all goes back on. So this time I've decided to get serious a bit earlier on in the year so that hopefully it's more of a habit than a quick fix before holiday thing. I'm going to be using my fitness pal because that works well for me, means I can eat normally but think twice about anything going in my mouth since I have to record it.
 
Sorry to hear things aren't too good with you Sue.

As for putting on the weight you've lost, well I've definitely been there, done that, done it again, and again....

This time I haven't put it all on but enough to want to get back on track. I'm doing WW online - but things have changed in a major way since I went off piste in the autumn. My weigh day is Wednesday, which fits nicely with taking down the tree and getting in the right frame of mind.

Funnily enough, Elaine, I find it easier to lose weight when I don't have a target date looming. Good luck with the earlier start.
 
Im determined this year as well. I remember this time last year reading this thread all the time but not joining in on it. Everyone seemed to be doing so well in losing weight and I was with you in spirit but not doing very well in losing.
I did well at the beginning of 2014 and lost quite a lot but then had a bad accident in June which left me immobile for several weeks and it started creeping on again. For some reason I just couldn't get motivated in 2015.
I got a fitbit for Christmas so my aim is to build up my fitness as well as trying to eat healthier.

Great to see you back Sue! I hope that everyone's health is improving!

Don't feel miserable about what has happened,:grouphug: its gone and regrets only lead to even more misery. It's a New Year, new start, successful attainment of your goals!

Tuesdays sound great, but I'll just log in on Fridays as normal (for me anyway!).

Hello everyone, lovely to see a few of you on here, ready to start the new year in a healthy way.:chat:

Well I started my new SW class last night and as antispiated I have put on nearly 2 of the 3 stone I lost:sad1:, whilst not a surprise it still hurt and I was gutted. However I have to draw a line under that now and move on. :yay:

I have reactivated my fit bit, My aim is to do a minimum of 12,000 steps a day! No matter how long it takes lol:snail:

So good luck everyone for the week, please pop in and update us with your results, I cant wait to now get stuck in properly:)
 
I've finally bitten the bullet and jumped on the scales (and off again and back on - but it made no difference :()

I've put back on 1st 3lbs of the weight I had lost by last summer.

Oh well, onwards and downwards!

Good luck to everyone starting their new healthy regimes this year.
 
Another pound off this week! Totally shocked after how much I enjoyed myself on Hogmanay:drinking1

I have a total weight loss of 108.9 lbs, with 3lbs to go to the next stone! Starting to see light at the end of this very long tunnel.:banana:

Hey Sue, sorry to hear you've been having a bit of a hard time with it. Life's just not fair sometimes but worry not the Dis has got your back! :grouphug:

I'm so glad you've started this back up again in 2016!!! I've not weighted myself since Christmas but I'll have a go soon. My goal is to stay as I am, maybe loose a little. I'll be trying on wedding dresses in February so I've gotta work hard :D
