It has been an honor to serve my country and the board. I have been promoted. I am proud, but humble. You don't have to give me anymore respect. I am simply a Dis vet. Carry on.

Oh, and to those of you who are not vets, I will still respect you until you earn your stripes. Just know, I am watching. :)

And, rest assured, when I become a moderator, and then a webmaster, and finally overtake Pete Werner, I will be a kind dictator.

Will that be soon, really soon, very soon, just around the corner, by Easter --- me thinks it would be a miracle :duck:

It happens when you spam post as many threads as you can in a small amount of time. It increases your post count over 500 and gets you the Veteran status. But the more important thing to look at is Reaction Score and points when you click on a persons user name. That gives a real good indication of the value that poster provides to the site. When someone’s reaction score is similar to, or even lower than, their post count, you know that person is just posting useless information to up their post count. When they have a high reaction score you know that people actually appreciate what they are posting.

I understand your point, but there are posters with huge post counts and relatively small reaction scores because they are active on the Games forum. Many of them are excellent and informative posters outside that forum.

Not necessarily, doesn't reaction score include any reaction, including "wow", "sad", and "angry"? I do think reaction score means more than just post amounts, but I don't think it means people necessarily "appreciate" the post.

Plus didn’t the reaction score begin after the update, but the post counts remained?
