Hi Everyone! :wave2:

Does anyone know if Kevin has ever done a review of Tokyo Dining? My DH and I are curious to know what he thinks of it.

Thanks so much :)

:confused3 I don't know about Kevin. But, DH and I ate there this past December during DAP for dinner. :thumbsup2

:worship: We had an amazing meal with a very attentive server! It is a sushi/tempura-type restaurant. DH got sushi and I got tempura. My vegetables were perfectly cooked. I had never had sweet potatoes in tempura before. Yummy!!!! Also, my chicken was moist and crispy. The view ... Wow! We lucked out and were in the dining room when IllumiNations started. If you are in the front section of the restaurant, you have an amazing view of the fireworks. DS4 was with us and loved his dinner coming in a bullet train. Very cute! DS4 liked his meal so much, he gobbled it up and started eating mine! :rotfl:

Personally, I think this is a very over-looked restaurant because most people are trying to eat at Teppan Edo (hibachi-style restaurant) which is located on the same floor. Great meal over all. We'd definitely return. :thumbsup2

I have not reviewed Tokyo Dining.

Corey and Julie are very fond of it...but there has been no formal review.

I've eaten in Teppan Edo, where they serve Sushi, for lunch and it was very nice!

We had a wonderful server who was very attentive, but not too pushy. We had a couple of rolls and it was very good. Lots of flavor. We did get a spot by the window and it was nice to people watch.

I would definately recommend this restauraunt.

Thank you everyone for your reviews! We are planning to have dinner at Tokyo Dining the night we see the Candlelight Processional. My DH loves sushi, but I'm not a huge fan so I'm glad to see that everyone likes the tempura....I'll have to try that. :thumbsup2

I think this is my first post on the Dis Unplugged board, and I just wanted to say that we're big fans of the podcast show. :worship:

Thanks again,

there was other food on the menu besides sushi and tempura, i don't recall what, but i remember noticing a family sitting near us ordering food that was clearly not sushi or tempura...

Does anyone know if they have any sushi made with smoked salmon. I found the sushi menu here, but, they only specify grilled and fresh.

They also serve grilled foods like steak, seafood and chicken. :thumbsup2

The menu posted here seems to be close to what we saw last December. Lots of options.

My DH and I had a wonderful sushi lunch in April. The server was very sweet (it was her 1st week) and the sushi was excellent. It was a lovely space. We didn't even have an ADR and we walked right in! The only non-sushi food we had was edamame which is hard to mess up so I can't comment on the cooked food.
