I was in Prince Edward Island, Canada over the summer. It was a dream trip for me, as I loved the Anne of Green Gables books as a kid. Even though the weather was a little chilly, I decided I had to visit a beach and put my toes in the water, just so I could say I did. I'm standing looking out over the ocean, and, all of a sudden, I hear a voice that sounds just like Kevin!
As Kevin's voice is fairly distinctive, I started looking around, explaining to my traveling buddy that I'm not a lunatic and Kevin is a real person -- not an imaginary friend like my family likes to say. I finally realized the family behind me on the beach had an iPod stereo thing-y, which looked kind of like a bucket so I didn't notice at first, and when the gentleman laid back on his beach blanket (the Canadians apparently did not find it too cold to swim), the ear phone plug popped out! So, Kevin's Artist Point review was being broadcast on the beach.
If I was braver, I would have gone over and introduced myself. However, he looked comfortable, so I just enjoyed my little taste of the DIS and went on my way! No t-shirt sightings, yet, though.
