DIS Unplugged Podcast Meets in Dec?

Has there been any discussion on having Podcast meets in Dec similar to the meets at WDW Swolphin last year?

Apparently, Corey let it slip in chat a few months ago that they were going to do something with Mousefest. I e-mailed the Team to see what dates they were looking at because I needed to solidify my plans; no response . . . so who knows. I could move my trip around a little . . . if they would, dagnabit, answer me.

I'll be there from 12/6 - 12/12 . . . unless I rearrange EVERYTHING and go 12/4 - 12/9 or 12/11 - 12/16. Darn airfare is killing me for 12/6 - 12/12.

I believe the overall Mousefest schedule has not been solidified just yet. The committee is still working on it. Until all the meets are solidified nothing can be published or officially annnounced.

Mousefest dates are pretty much set in stone as far as I can tell (everything is bold is from mousefest.org):

2008 Mega Mouse Meet Location and Time Announced

Mega Mouse Meet, MouseFest's biggest event, is moving to Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resort Convention Center! That puts Saturday's big event even closer to the Park of the Day action at Epcot®. We're also trying something new this year – we're starting Mega Mouse Meet earlier in the day so that there's more continuous time for other meets at Epcot®, Saturday's park of the day. This is how the day looks:

Mega Mouse Meet – Saturday, December 13, 2008

10:00am-11:00am -- Mega Mouse Meet "Extra MouseFest Hour" for registered MouseFest attendees

11:00am – 1:00pm -- Mega Mouse Meet opens to all

1:00pm – park closing -- Epcot® Park of the Day activities


Mickey_Chic & I will be there Dec 11-14th, so hopefully anything podcast meet related is over the land weekend. If not, we will Kungaloosh with you in spirit!

um, this may be a silly question... but what is Mousefest?

I'll be down 12/3 thru the 8th. I may come home on the 7th to save a vacation day. Right now there are plans for Chirurgeon, MommyC and myself to meet up.

Would love to come down a week later for Mousefest, but I leave in the 18th for Christmas Vacation. I can't swing the vacation time.
