During the Discussion podcast, the crew mentioned the "need" for a dentist. Kevin mentioned me as the eye doctor. Got me thinking...

What if we had a "healthcare network" for the DIS?

That way, the DIS team could call upon a neurologist when Kevin thinks John is having a stroke. Or we could get a liver specialist once Corey goes through all the beers & tequila at Paradiso 37. Or the DIS could have a diabetes specialist on call if the chocolate shipments get out of hand. How about an anesthesiologist to "bring Pete down" after a rant?

So, calling all physicians, nurses, technicians, and any healthcare workers! Let's see what we have here.

Roll call!

Based on my experience from PCC 1.0 you would have a lot more luck using the DIS community to fix your computer than your blood pressure. Plus bad information leads to a blue screen of death instead of a shinny light at the end of a tunnel death.

:rotfl: that is funny. I am a nurse and a certified case manager so I can help deal with the insurance companies. Cause we all know how fun that is.

As I understand from listening to the recent news, there are several Dr. Feelgoods in the Burbank area that are now in need of employment.....:happytv:

OK, so our Healthcare system has an Ophthalmologist, a nurse & case manager, an "actor" and licensed drug pushers.

A few hours old and the DIS already has a healthcare crisis.

Just started listening to the Email/FB2FB episode.

Looks like Pete needs an Alzheimers specialist.

I can be the official DIS veterinarian. Afterall, Max needs healthcare too.

I am a trainned British Red Cross First Aider (with a focus on children's first aid), but the worst one in the world as I am more than slightly squeamish!

I'm sure in a time of crisis I would do ok... :rolleyes1

medical social worker here. Need help dealing with your illness? Need help ordering medical supplies? Need a nice letter "written" by your doctor? :cool1:

Okay, now we're getting somewhere...

We should have DIS Unplugged scrubs available soon.

I don't have a medical license but have 20+ years in psychiatric rehablitation.

I am not in any medical field, but I am a printer, so I can print Pete's Book if he ever writes it.

I've added the roll call to the OP. Let me know if I miss anyone.
