Just catching up on watching the DIS Universal podcast from a few weeks ago and loved the Margaritaville episode. Well done! I haven't back for 3 or 4 yrs, but have enjoyed it 3 plus times in the past. Always love the Cheeseburger in Paradise and a classic Margarita. I've eaten inside the restaurant and also on the porch. Being Canadian, I always ask for my burger well done (rare for Cdns to eat hamburgers rare or even medium: its a relatively recent cultural thing. I remember as a kid having med homemade hamburgers on the BBQ but this hasn't happened for the past 20 yrs) and the poor server always cringes and then asks, "Are you Canadian, by the way?" Yes. Yes, I am. But even when well-done, the burger is wonderful. I had the conch fritters a few years ago & while top notch, they were a bit too spicy for my taste but that's a personal taste thing. I have also taken a tween niece here for an early dinner (before 6pm) and it was fine for kids. No issue at all. However, City Walk can get pretty adult pretty fast on Friday and Sat nights so I don't know that I would be as comfortable doing this after 7pm on a weekend evening. Thanks for the great information as its good to know that Margaritaville is still as solid as ever! And thank you once again Craig, Ryno & JL for the hard work & quality product! Cheers! ps I always hit the thumbs up button. You know I do :-)

I really liked this episode too as it's got me excited to try Margaritaville on our first UO trip over a weekend later this spring. My tweens LOVE nachos and we love cheeseburgers so count us in.

Glad to hear it was a comfortable scene for you and your tween niece, at least before 6. I admit that's the one thing I wonder about--how the scene will be for our family at Margaritaville and Citywalk on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night...

It is still family friendly at night. Stiltwalkers still come around and make balloons for little ones......and not so little ones.........it's a fun place but as Mac says.....it is very noisy, especially at night. Margaritaville is on our list every year.........usually a lunch and a dinner if we can........

We've never felt uncomfortable or didn't feel it was family friendly in Citywalk.........there's always lots of families around........we're not usually around Citywalk after 11pm unless it's a HHN. Then it's slightly different..........:D
