DIS Twigirls & Twiguys Coven Podcruise Meet 2.0 - date set

http://uk.eonline.com/uberblog/b180...m_medium=rssfeeds&utm_campaign=imdb_tv-movies

Starry-eyed, vampire-loving romantics aren't the only ones jealous of Bella and Edward right now.

Summit Entertainment is primed to split the final Twilight Saga installment, Breaking Dawn, into two films: Author Stephenie Meyer has signed off; Bill Condon's onboard to direct two; and Robert Pattinson is ready to roll, as are Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.

So what's the holdup on declaring Breaking Dawn a twofer?

According to the Hollywood Reporter, it's some of the so-called secondary and lesser-paid stars of the series, particularly Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene, who have not agreed to Summit's terms and are demanding more money for their pale-faced efforts.

A source told the trade that the offers the actors received for the proposed fifth film were "offensive" in comparison with how much dough the franchise has earned. Another insider says, meanwhile, that Summit might be willing to cut ties with at least one of them to "make a point."

Now, fans have already been forced to accept a midsaga cast change: Bryce Dallas Howard replaces Rachelle Lefevre as the murderous Victoria in the upcoming Eclipse.

But there might be a mutiny if the Cullen clan is replaced with newcomers!

I have just found this thread. Let me start by saying . I have watched the movies many times. And I have read each of the books too many times to count. I'd say more than 12 times, less than 25. (I read kinda fast.)

Ok. I saw the above article on imdb. I have no idea if the stuff in it's true. But I am telling you right now that if either Kellan Lutz or Ashley Greene fail to appear in Breaking Dawn due to Summit's money grubbing I will not be watching either film. I won't change my mind on this.

I had no big problem when they replaced Rachelle Lefevre due to her making scheduling conflicts. But considering the money Summit is making, the actors playing central character which all of the Cullens are, should be paid fairly.

That's my opinion anyway.

I am very upset about this as well, the problem is most people will still see it, myself included- and they know this. As pissed as I will be I could not- NOT see it. They just dont care about the fans I think, which really sucks. Lets just hope they make the right choice and give them what they deserve, they have certainly made their money. Wish I could say I would not see it to prove a point but I am being honest, I respect anyone who can.

Happy First Anniversary to the DIS Twigirls & Twiguys Coven!!!

Awww, that was so fun! Thinking of you guys, too, and that AWESOME party verandah Tonya had!

On a side note:
My dd just watched "Shark Boy and Lava Girl" last night. Taylor Lautner was very cute back then (but he couldn't act very well...). Glad he does a much better job now!

Shark Boy and Lava Girl was on TV the night the Twilight DVD got released and I made the mistake of watching it. Took me a while to think of Taylor as Jacob after that. :rotfl2::rotfl:

I think it won't be the same without them but I will see the movie/movies regardless because I'm an addict beyond repair.

I hope they can come to an agreement though!

I agree,
I LOVE the saga way more than I could ever hate Summit-
:confused3
can't help it...

Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz, two of the Twilight co-stars that were in a heated battle with Summit Entertainment over the deal points for the fourth and fifth installment of Breaking Dawn, have signed their deals, sources say. It’s not clear which party buckled and both sides are sure to have their spin, but we can confirm that we’ll see Green back as Alice Cullen for the last two Twilight films. And hunky Lutz will also return as Emmett Cullen for the conclusion of the epic franchise. Bill Condon is directing and production is set to begin in the fall. Summit Entertainment would not confirm the deals.

Hi fellow Twihards - I was just wondering what you all thought about Bill Condon, the director chosen to direct the 2 Breaking Dawn films?

Personally, I'm a little worried. I mean the only movies I'm familiar with him directing are Dreamgirls and Chicago. Should we be expecting dancing and singing vampires and werewolves?! :rotfl2:

Did everyone get the link to the free book?

If not here it is.

Also, may I make a suggestion as to the time of our meet? I admit, it's purely selfish, but if it could be on the day we are at sea, around 2 o'clock, that would be perfect. The baby naps at that time and Chris would have 1 less child to handle alone.

We'll have to wait to decided a time to meet until the official event times are announced. Who knows - maybe we will have a nighttime meet so Edward can join us without fear of sparkling. ;)
