DIS River Order

I am trying to find KINGHUSKY to complete the full circle. King, if you are out there or if anyone knows King, please post here so I can meet with you. I will give this 1 week. If I cannot find King by 2/8, I will cut his rooms out of the river and close the circle.

Kinghusky is on my friend list in VMK. He has not been on since December.

I say it is time to close the loop. We can always add him back in later, if he wants.

On a side note, has anyone rode the river lately? It is a whole new experience, the way the rooms load now.

I agree Fly. I have both peeps on either side of King on my friends list, and other means of communication as well with both. I shall get in contact with both to see if we can "seal up the leak".

I did ride a few rooms the other day, it was such a "wild" experience!

Hi Limeran. You and any other DIS members are welcome to add rooms to the DIS river. I did see a few have been added when I rode a few rooms the other day.

I know Disney_Dreams had been hoping (and I agreed), to get the river working again before adding peeps, as some had left VMK and others were deleted by VMK. It was a mess to say the least. We are "that close" to getting it to be a fully functional river ride again.. just this one connection, and a test ride.

Then any and all who would like to join can be added.

Since PurpleDuck has easy contact with ppl on both sides of King, that will seal that up. I will verify the rest is still cool to go tomorrow and post from there.

Everyone please: Some of the "new" peeps that are in there, I have never heard of as being DIS. There had been a time when it was open to anyone to join a room, or a friend of a DIS person. But when I really got in there and "worked it out" back a month or two ago.. it appeared that most were not known or the "DIS friend" was gone.

I would like to submit to the DIS in general, that the DIS river remain only DIS members and no friends. Sounds harsh, but the clean up was messy to begin with, with just the DIS people involved. There was no way to reach these others, most were cut out for not connecting to anywhere, OR, their rooms had been affected as many DIS rooms had, after the big VMK change. So many pieces were out of place, backwards, etc.

Absolutely agree. The only way to keep this "full circle" is to make sure we can contact people. Trying to contact and connect with formerly DIS members of the river has been 99% of the challenge as can be seen from this thread.

Please do not connect your friends who are not DIS members. This is not meant to be exclusionary, but moreso necessary for maintenance to keep the river running full circle.

Okay, I tried to ride today and made it about 4 rooms. LOL

The room following Disvaclub's Mellow Yellow has limited access. Moussedude's first room would not let me in.

Since Disvaclub is on my friends list, I am guessing this is Moussedude's first room.

Can anyone who knows Moussedude help me check on this please? I have sent a note to Disvaclub just to verify it is not a room of hers that is locked.

Disvaclub is working with Moussedude's son. It is just his first room that seems to be on friends only. I rode through all other rooms.

I have gotten a new porter to Cazalet, and we tested it.

I will shortly, have Starwarskid porter in place too.

That should bring us full circle, finally!!
