DIS Radio needs some work!

I think its great, the sound quality is perfect and overall it just works really well, but the issue I have with it is that there are only a few tracks that keep playing over and over. And it would be one thing if they were shorter tracks, but I keep hearing Illuminations, Fantasmic and the Share a Dream Come True parade, which are all around or over that 20 minute mark. Personally Im not a fan of Illuminations or Fantasmic, and I could even deal listening to them if I knew that there would be more variety coming up. I did hear the COP once and that was great! I say remove one of these big tracks and replace it with some smaller ones. I'll take 6 smaller varied songs over one long one any day. Or just keep the long ones and add in more smaller tracks. And also, the time schedule that is posted doesn't seem to make a difference as it seems most of those long songs just come up during those time frames as well. For example, I hear Tapestry of Nations during:

8:00am 10:00am Music from Disney parades

10:00am 2:00pm Music from Disney parks around the world

2:00pm 3:00pm Music from attractions long gone...

4:00pm 5:00pm WebmasterPete's Favorite DIS Radio songs

9:00pm 10:00pm Showstoppers from Disney shows and films

Ok, Im done ranting. Im just hoping that the DIS team will update it and add alot more variety! But don't take out COP!!

Actually, if the Internet Radio Fair Equality Act (I have no idea if I said that right) goes on through (effective July 15th, but it's on a moratorium right now), Pete's going to quit doing it anyway. It will cost him a fortune, so that's probably why he's not real focused on it right now.

I have to agree- DIS Radio is my least fave of the live 365 disney music options. My absolute favorite is D-Magic Radio... every day the dj simulates a walk around a different park, and he has almost EVERY track- all the background music from every land, almost every ridethrough... he groups them all together so you feel like you are actually walking through the parks. It is incredible, and the loop is very long as you can imagine, so you barely ever have repeats during the day. Today it's a walk around EPCOT, and I am currently in innovations.

His site is : http://www.d-magicradio.com/. I HIGHLY suggest all WDW super fans check it out. He is very nice as well... I had an inquiry about a certain song he plays (space mountain exit music) and he was very good with helping me track down the music and buy the cd is it on.

Anyway, I forgive the DIS for having a sub-par streaming music site, since their weekly podcast is so good!

I can't do live365 at work they block us from it ...... they don't like streaming music at work and can get around it on DIS Radio....
