DIS Radio - Let me get this straight...

I recently got Live 365 on my Blackberry and was enjoying DIS Radio... until my VIP trial ran out. Now it says I need VIP membership to listen to it.

Really?

I'm new to this whole Internet radio thing. Are there any free Disney channels on Live365? (I got the same issue with Mouseworld Radio).

DIS and Mouseworld Radio shouldn't be VIP- maybe just certain times? I noticed that some stations, when there are too many listeners tuned in, will go to "VIP access only" until fewer people are listening.

My favorite non-VIP Disney stations are:

DIS
E Ticket Radio
Park Hopper Radio
Sorcerer Radio- WDW
Mouseworld Radio

I've gotten around this by going to my internet cookies file and deleting the Live365 cookies. That is what is counting you visits. If you dump all your cookies you will have log into all your sites again which is a pain.

My favorite Disney Music station is "Disney Tunes Radio" (www.dtuneslive.com). They have added 5 new stations. You have your choice of listening formats and it's total free.

They have stations for:
Disney Requests
Disney Soundtracks
Disney Theme Parks and Hotel Songs
Disney Area Music from Theme Parks and Hotels
All the Disney Parades
and finally Full Ride attraction audio.

They are non-VIP for the computer version but if you are using mobile live365 on your iPhone or blackberry you need to be a VIP member to listen. Its the same way with me. After 5 days of using it for free they make you subscribe.

From what I understand and my experience yes. Unless I'm doing something wrong. I've been listening to live 365 on my computer for like 5 years and when I got my iPhone I installed mobile live 365. After reading the small print, it says that you have to join the pay subscription to VIP to use the moblie 365.

That works great on the blackberry to stream from the net no VIP needed. Anything that streams on the net you can get streamed to your blackberry. Just make sure you have a unlimited data package..
