Firefly Girl,
Your picture are beautiful! I hate to get off topic, but which ballroom at the boardwalk were you in?

Thank you! We were in the St James Room. Originally we were going to have the reception out on the patio but it was really windy that day, so we moved it in.

Your pictures are beautiful!!! How many people did you have at your wedding? Congratulations!!! You both look so happy!!! :flower:

I used Disney Photographer. I would never...never...never...use them again!

I am also interested into why you would never use them??

I have heard such torn reviews it's like people love them or hate them nothing in between. I have seen some beautiful dis photography jobs so i am wondering is it the chance of having a good (or bad for that fact) photographer? Is it older versuses present? This seems to be the hardest decision because you want to make sure your day that happens once in a lifetime (hopefully for most lol) is recorded well so some day when you are like 80 you can still watch it and remeber! Sorry not to be a drama Queen but this seems so important to me and for disney's photography and videography prices they better be good! :confused3

I REALLY liked our videographer and photographer. My wedding was over 6 years ago so I don't know that the folks I used are options anymore, but I know that it wasn't the Disney one. At the time (and they may still do this now) they gave us a list of about 15 photographers and 8 videographers to choose from. I ordered samples from all of them and chose from there. I ended up paying $350 for the pictures (that included and album and parent's album plus the negatives) and $350 for the videographer who did a perfect job. He did alot of the editing and dubbing and used a song I requested for the montage at the end of the video. I couldn't have asked for anything better. I think their name was "The Video People" but I don't remember and I can't remember the photographer.

Disney was charging over $1500 for just the video at the time and I ended up with nicer (and CHEAPER) products by using the other folks.

If they still give you alot of choices, be sure to get sample videos (and pictures) from all of them. Ask for a sample of the full wedding video and not just a segment of one. It will give you a better idea. Heck, they probably have them to view over the internet now.
I just posted this on a different thread, but here's my take (although it is probably VERY outdated...our wedding was over 6 years ago).
