What is this?

Where is your home resort?

It's new. I found it on my DVC perks page like mvf-m11c said. I can't reserve it until sometime in July. It will tell you the dates and when you can reserve. They're not having it every week. Our home resort is AKL.

I believe the DVC Safari Spectacular is new. This is the link to it: https://disneyvacationclub.disney.go.com/discounts-perks-offers/member-events/safari-spectacular/. That should be fun to do. As far as when to go, I have looked at late September but I try to avoid the month and wait to go in October. I can never get tired of certain kiosks at the F&W Festival like the Canadian kiosk.

It is new. I'm so happy that they're having one while we're there.

We're going to F&W Festival - that's why we're going when we are. It opens on 14 Sep this year and ends on 14 Nov. I'm trying to get one of the other YoYos and her husband to book a room and join us, but so far, they're dragging their heels.

Sounds like plenty of WDW planning going on around here. Someday we'll need to do the F&W Festival again. For now we're hitting place we haven't been to and laying off the parks.

It has been two tough days here in Reno, NV and it isn't even the big tourney weekend. Can't wait for it to be over this weekend and be down in SoCal next weekend.

We went out to the park. We were going to, then we weren't going to, then Fran changed her mind at the last minute. It was good because we got to meet up with a friend on FB that we had been talking with and interacting with for a long time. She lives in Nor Cal and we had never met until tonight. Plus they were having an event with the guy who made these. (Not the Piano)



He actually got really emotional when I showed him this picture. He does this artwork as a "side job", his day job is to create models of the major casinos that are built in Las Vegas like the Bellagio, and other Wynn projects. It was a total fluke that he got hired by Disney to make these things, but we was so happy to see that we had all three of his projects and had them displayed so properly.

He even invited us to his home outside Las Vegas for Mai Tai's and he has a Tiki Bar as well, even more Tiki looking than our Tiki bar! He showed me pictures.

Work's okay. But I got caught in some FB drama. Long story.....lots of hurt feelings and I inadvertently made things worse by trying to fix it for everyone. Just extricating myself from it all. Hopefully, I'll go back to having time for myself and the Dis.
