I was wondering the same thing. But actually it was a pink night light inside my pumpkin. Gave it a steady glow for the picture. The pink was a mistake that my daughter liked.

I am so proud of my girls work. Since it was the first time Mom was willing to let them carve it (scary) but they did well. Good Luck to all entrants big or small.

I think i could of got a better picture for mine X_X.. i was taking a few shots late last night and my battery ran out.. I couldn't get the charger and i couldn't post another picture since i got home 2:30 today.

Lol, i read online that if you put petroleum jelly on the inside and carvings it will last alot longer. I tried and my pumpkin still looks fresh. Also if you don't have a carving kit like me you can try a little steak knife and an ice cream scooper works really well to get the sticky seeds
