Hi all,

Sorry for not getting back to you all on this yet, had a big chemistry exam last week so my mind was elsewhere! Gonna try and get this sorted this evening. I'll post up the restaurants at Meadowhall so we can decide where we want to eat. I seem to remember a family orientated pub being there with climbing areas/ball pits for kids and basic pub grub type food. That might be a good option?

Ok, gotta sort dinner out then I'll get right on it!

the pub inside meadowhall, doesnt do very nice food, just a warning, plus when we were there it was quiet but still took 1hr 30 mins between courses,

That's odd, we went there for a meal before we saw Queen and it was lovely, very fast service too!

but it may not be the same place you mean, this one is the one at the end of the lanes, shaped like a tower

So that gives us 17 definates, 2 maybe's and one ickle one. We're almost certainly going to have to book a table to seat that many people. I've had a look at restaurants at Meadowhall and your choices are:

The Clock Tower (family pub)
Pizza Express
Nando's (chicken)
Margaritas (mediterranean)
Ma Potter's Chargrill
La Tasca (Spanish)
The Food Court (McDonalds, KFC & other quality dining establishments!)

My personal preference would be Nando's or the chargrill place but I would probably be fine in the family pub, Pizza Express or Margaritas.

Pizza express or Nandos. margarittas can't handle very large groups due to layout. We once rang and asked for a table for 12 and there was a long pause.

will they cater for wheat allergies?

Sorry didnt think to mention it lol, I can just about manage rice, so anywhere that serves it is great

its ok if it makes it difficult me and chris can just say hi and dont have to eat

Nando's should cater for wheat allergies as it's nearly all chicken. I'll have a look at the website for you. I'd consider Pizza Express to be more risky with all the dough.
