Hi all, I'd love some experts to critique/make suggestions for my one day plan for MK with my DD(age 9). She (and I) don't like fast rides so aren't into a lot of the "big" headliners...which I guess is sort of good for our plan. I have booked my FP+ for Peter Pan starting at 10:30am, then Enchanted Tales with Belle right after and then Buzz Lightyear. (open to suggestions here too)..

Really what I'd like advice on is how to fit in everything else we'd like to do...mostly Fantasyland stuff...Under the Sea with Ariel, Pooh, IASW, and Haunted Mansion and Jungle Cruise are "must do". After that everything else is gravy but I'd love to see Philharmagic and anything else we can fit in. Thanks in advance for any assistance!!

Personally I would make sure to arrive in time for rope drop, depending on when you are going I'd aim for a half hour to an hour prior to opening in case the park opens a little early. I'd start with Under the Sea, followed by Pooh, and hopefully Jungle Cruise could also be done in the first hour. If you then aimed for Haunted Mansion then IASW you might have to wait a little but could hopefully be done by the later end of your first FP+ window and you could then just focus on FP+, lunch, and anything else you could get on/ are interested in.

Alternatively if it's busy and you can't do IASW before your first FP+ expires you could go to a kiosk after your third FP+ and try to get it as a fourth FP+.

I think Mickey's Philharmagic is a great idea for the afternoon once you've done your "must dos" and your daughter might get a kick out of Carousel of Progress or Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor as well.

You can't get anything at an earlier time? What's your rope drop ride? Under the Sea maybe? Hopefully if you get there early enough you can do a bunch of things before your first fast pass.

I'd say after Buzz .. hit the FP+ Kiosks in Tomorrowland and get the earliest time you can for Jungle Cruise because there is a kiosk right outside of it. So after leaving the Jungle Cruise you can hit the Kiosk again for a kick 1-2 punch to pick your next Fast Pass.

If it is just the two of you .. should work out depending on the lines and crowd levels.

We were just there for one day and I was working on a strategy with a 10:30 Peter Pan FP+ and there were suggestions to get rid of it and just hit PP first thing. We did that and it freed up the whole morning. We got there just after RD and walked right back to PP. We waited about 20 minutes. And the cool part about standby at PP is the new interactive queue that you miss with FP+.

After PP my daughter and I went to Merida while my husband did carousel and SW with my son. They walked right onto SW. We then walked up to see Gaston but missed the line, so headed over to Little Mermaid and did standby of about 5 minutes. Then we did Barnstomer standby and DD and I went to meet Daisy & Minnie while DS went on Dumbo, we shopped a little and watched some of street band all before heading to our 7DMT FP at 11:45.

So, my point is, maybe switch that PP FP for a different Fantasyland must do? (Pooh had at least 30 minute lines every time we walked by). Hit PP first thing, then SW, your other Fantasyland must dos, etc. I'd try to get a bunch of that in standby in the morning.

Also, we did an 8:15 Buzz FP+ as our 4th, and it was a 10 minute standby line when we got there just after Electrical Parade. So you can probably do that one later as I think people with younger kids are making their way to the entrance to watch Wishes and bolt to the buses. We had a great view from the edge of Tomorrowland.

Thanks for the tips everyone!!! I might just rethink that FP for Peter Pan....good point about the interactive queue - never thought of that. We will definitely get there for rope drop and try to do as much as we can before our first FP+. I never thought of using it on Winnie though...I guess lines are worse than I thought for that one!!! I love hearing everyone's advice and tips!! So much Disney knowledge around these parts!!!
