Dis Meet in Ottawa ? Wanna come too?

I may have to do an open house that Sunday but I should know for sure by the end of the week. DD usuallly works on Sundays so she won't be able to come (I don't want her to book it off as she'll be away for 2 weeks when we go to WDW in March and then again when we go in July).

I guess you can count me in for now Wendy & I'll talk to you this week to confirm. I'll see what I can do to re-arrange things. It would be really nice to meet all the Ottawa area DISers.

You might want to check with Cora's soon. I know Cora's in Nepean will not reserve tables unless they have changed things in the last couple of weeks.

Hi Wendy,
Thanks for keeping us in mind. Unfortunately hockey playoffs start next week and I will not know our schedule until later in the week. We will be a last minute addition if we can make it. Disney chat or not, parents would be less than pleased if the coach skipped a playoff game for breakfast in Ottawa.

Hi Everyone,
Diz Karen was right....we cannot make reservations at Cora's on weekends.
So we have to wait till the group is there and then as there is an opening they will put tables together for what ever number we need.
So...we can do that, OR change our time to 9:00-9:30 which can a less busy, OR I can try for somewhere else. As we are not too big a group I am sure that Cora's would still be a viable option as I have seen them move tables around to facilitate numbers.
So if you guys would like to let me know what the majority would like we will go with that.

Diz Karen, thanks for the heads-up re Cora's, aren't you coming also?

If you think we would have a decent chance of getting a table at Cora's if we go earlier, then I'm up for trying that. Maybe around 9:00 a.m., as you said? If you'd feel better booking a place that we can definitely reserve then I'm open to that too. Will await the majority rule

Just checking in to see how things are shaping up for breakfast at Cora's on Sunday. What is the consenus on time - 9:00 or 10:00? We were just there this past Saturday at about 9:00 and only waited 10 minutes for 4 but when we left at 10:30 the lineup was pretty big. Waiting area is non-existent. If the weather is good, waiting outside is fine. Either time works for me! Looking forward to it ...

I have only heard from two people so far but my feeling is that maybe we should go a little earlier like 09:00am and that way we probably will have a better chance for a couple of tables together for our meet!!
If this sounds fine to everyone, please let me know....

As much as I would really like to be there, I just don't think I can make this one :-( I have been sick a few days and that really cut into my report card time. My weekend is going to be totally dedicated to report cards, which are now due to the principal on Monday morning. I hope you all have a great time! Take pics so I can see the fun!

Hi everybody
I think that we should move the brunch up to 09:30 am at Cora's on Sunday.
If anyone has a problem with it please let me know. We are going to be six so that should be Ok for getting a table ( they do have larger ones in the back). Just to reconfirm it will be the Cora's on St. Joseph Blvd. cross street Jeanne D'arc, in Orleans.
If everyone can wear a little something in lime green ( ribbon etc) that we can pick you out
So if you can't make it please let me know and then we won't wait for you,as I believe Cora's sits the group once you are all there.

I am sorry to say that I too am going to have to miss tomorrow morning's Dis Meet. There apparently aren't enough people to serve communion at our church service tomorrow morning at 10:30, and since I'm an elder in our church I just had a phone call begging me to come and help out. I am SOOO disappointed!!!!

Please have a wonderful time and post some pictures of your get-together at Cora's. And I definitely will be there next time - since we're going to WDW next month I will come bearing pictures too.

Well our number have certainly gotten a lot less...so I guess you could call it a " Minnie-Dis Meet " ( Ok OK, so its not that funny, but its all I could come up with in the early am)

Hi Ottawa Cruiser,....our Dis meet was one of quality, not quantity
Pixie Dust, Faye W, Katdb and I were the whole meet...but we ended up adjourning back to my house and had a great time chatting together and sharing our Disney expierences
I was very pleased to meet Pixie Dust and FayeW in person and we talked about a future Dis Meet in the summer, so who all is coming?
As far as photos go we only took one and its still in the camera!
