DIS meet--HH--Thanksgiving!!

Trying to organize the DIS meet for Thanksgiving weekend at HH. If you are going to be there and would like to meet some fellow DVC DISers, please drop me an email at keenercam@aol.com or PM me here. My buddy, disneyaholic, is gathering friends from the AOL group and we are looking for a huge contingent, to chat and maybe share dessert and coffee.

Nope, there were a few people from the AOL board who responded, too. But it looks like maybe everyone else who is going doesn't use the Internet?? Can you imagine? LOL!!

I'd be interested in meeting up with the group but I did not bother to respond because my guess is you'll probably be meeting closer to Thanksgiving day and we'll only be at HH until that Tuesday morning. If the meet happens to be before then, please let me know. I'd love to stop by and say hi!

Wow!! We have 8 families who will all be at HH for Thanksgiving. Hoping to do coffee and dessert Wednesday p.m. and would love to have more of you join us!!

Just received the thanksgiving dinner menu & order form as well as the activity list. I don't think we will be ordering dinner from Disney, since the meal seems larger than we need and there are many items my kids won't eat. Anyone know of another alternative? I think someone mentioned a grocery store in the area--was it Winn Dixie? Does anyone know where the grocery store is? Planning to track it down and get info on their thanksgiving offerings. Will be glad to share any information I gather with anyone else who will be there then.

Someone here had mentioned a dinner from Piggly Wiggly. I'm sure Publix (there are two not too far from the resort) also will be doing dinners. Not sure about PW, but I know that the Publix near us does the whole dinner, with all the trimmings, not all a la carte like the resort.
