Sounds like a good plan Tina. It would be fun to work at WDW. Fred always says he is going to drive a WDW bus when we retire. Maybe I could work at a front desk. I don't want to work in the parks because I want them to stay "special". I wish you both luck.
You could always join us on the January 3, 2009 Eastern to St Croix. Brack & Annette and Angie & Dennis are also on the 1-3-09.

So we've decided not to go on a cruise this year. We're staying on property instead. I'm not upset though. As long as Disney is involved I'll be happy. We're going to shoot for October. We haven't been during that time of year with all the Halloween decorations. I'm really excited. We're also going to talk with Casting and look at apartments.

October is great! The weather is nice, and the Halloween decorations really make things look different. I'm hoping to sneak away for a few days around that time, but it will probably be without Jim (he STILL won't have any vacation time!). Maybe I can take my DDIL and my DGD and make a quick "girls only" trip. We've often talked about doing that, just haven't gotten to it yet. I think they'd enjoy the Food and Wine Festival (well, DDIL might enjoy the wine, the granddaughter will only be 8, and better NOT enjoy the wine).

How have you been? Are you and Jasmine getting excited for your upcoming Tokyo trip? How is the winter there? We've had a really mild winter here in Texas. However today, it is really WINDY!

Hi Jennifer!
We've been keeping busy with basketball, and getting back into the swing of things after the break. And of course there's the inevitable flu bugs being passed around. The weather's been normal for this time of year - dark and rainy. My blue light is definitely helping me to get through the winter though.

I've been looking at the Tokyo Disney Sea website, and there is so much to do there! And I keep hearing more and more about all the shopping opportunities in Korea. I'm planning on getting formal dresses made for our cruise in June.

I'm trying to figure out our trip to WDW in September, since I can make ADRs in March. It looks like we'll be able to catch a MNSSHP the Friday before we sale!

Also, they just updated the DVC member cruise website....we WILL see Toy Story onboard!

To make matters worse, we now have grassfires breaking out in our county and all around the DFW area. I could smell smoke when I went outside earlier to get the trash cans (before they blew down the street). It is crazy around here today.

Vacation time is definately one of our top things to talk with casting about. I don't think that we will be able to go on a vacation next year other than moving down to Florida (everyday will be a vacation!!!) . I would REALLY REALLY like to go on one of the Inaugural cruises though. For something that big, I think I can hold out a year!!!

My poor boss has had a bad week this week, she lost part of her roof yesterday and she had to run out today because there is a grass fire right next to her property.

That would be great! That's actually the time-frame I'm considering because of the Columbus Day weekend. I have a lot of vacation time that I need to use before the end of this year because I've been carrying it for a long time. I'm thinking about going to Jacksonville first to see my brother and his family for a couple of days, and then heading to WDW by the 11th or 12th. I'll have to see what actually happens!

We're shooting for fall of 2009 to move down there. We're just going to talk with casting in October to see what would be the best time to move down there for jobs and to see what kind of pay we are going to be looking at and look at apartments to see which ones we like and to get on a waiting list if necessary. I can't wait!!!!

I thought that I was going to have to wait until the Annual Dodd Family September WDW Visit but it now looks like we might be able to squeeze a few days in around the first of June. Yes I know it is really humid then but I can do it.

We'll meet up with friends so it will be fun. She was a CM a few years ago as Cinderella

Hey guys,

Popping in to say hi. Things have been crazy around here. We just recently received a credit card in the mail that was forwarded from our old address which we haven't lived at for almost a year. The card was one that, of course, we'd never applied for. So it seems DH has been the victim of some sort of identity theft. He's been checking all our online accounts and has found one other where the contact email address had been changed, but yet the password on the account hadn't. So now he's changed passwords on everything.

The kicker in all of this is that we actually subscribe to a credit monitoring agency and they didn't catch any of this. We received no report that someone had applied for credit with his number. Moral of the story - be vigilent! No one really cares about your identity except you and the guy trying to scam it.

DH is also having upheaval at work as was reported in the news this morning. I haven't decided if this is a good thing or a bad thing yet. Worst case scenario, we make a tidy profit on the stock we still have and he receives a wonderful severance package. To be honest, I'm not sure "worst case" and "best case" aren't the same thing. I wouldn't enjoy the uncertainty of new job prospects, but as it is, I don't enjoy DH always being stressed!
