DIS Meet at Tony Romas ***Sat 9th May***

Better let Garry know there's no parking out side .
He's in charge of directions:)

I always park at the Bentall's Centre as it's the easiest one coming from my direction (via Hampton Court) and walk around to Tony Romas.

You know it better than me Libby, what is the parking like on a Saturday morning?

Until this year I would have said it gets VERY busy after 10am and certainly by 11am there are queues that back up for about a mile for Bentall's (compounded by traffic lights and through traffic). A couple of weeks ago a second car park opened at Bentall's so hopefully things won't be as bad.

I don't know about the car parks coming from other directions as we never use them.

We're planning to get to Kingston for about 10am and go shopping before the meal. (There's a Disney store in Bentall's centre and a nice Borders book shop in the Market square.)

We are coming from the m1/m25

I'm guessing you'll leave the M25 at Jnct 10 and then take the A3 to Tolworth.
Coming from Tolworth then Tony's suggested car park at Fairfield North would probably be your best bet. It's a while since I've driven that way, perhaps Tony can give more detailed directions.

ETA Looking at the one way system on Googlemaps, it might be easier to come off the A3 at Malden Way and then head into Kingston to get to Fairfield North car park.

I always run up the M3/ A308 then around the one way system.

I think we will end up arriving early and looking round the shops . Will have to check out the Disney store also :goodvibes

We won't be there early enough to look around the shops, I don't think - perhaps we'll have time to do a bit of shopping afterwards :confused3

I'm off to Kingston soon, I'll check out the traffic situation later on - if I remember!

P.S. I'm going to get DD some new school shoes - I'm not camping out ready for next week's meet!
