Dis ladies Star Wars Weekend! May the Force be with us

Can I come stay with you Jenna? :cloud9:

You're DH might also think it priceless to have a personal assistant with you :confused3 :teeth:

Absolutely, come on down!!!!

Wow Jenna! You are one lucky girl! So, which one are you choosing? :yay:

I don't know yet, I know I don't want the GF, too stuffy for me!

I am just happy to be able to go and take the kiddos, I was feeling guilty about them not going between the two ladies meets!

I am so not hung up on monorail resorts. I obviously don't spend that much time at MK, so no jealousy here. But with two little kids for a week, she may want that.

Jenna - Pick the Polynesian. Not only do you have monorail to MK but you can walk to the TTC and take the monorail to Epcot without having to walk all the way around and switch trains.

Unfortunately Star Wars is at MGM so you will have to take a bus there.

I don't mind taking the buses, but having all of the other options is nice too, the boats and the monorail. Obviously since mine are so young, MK is their favorite. I have only stayed one night at the Poly, but I liked it. The only thing I don't like about the Poly is how it is not all in one building, so if it is raining, you are running around outside from your room to the main longhouse. I also really like WL, even though it is not on the monorail.

WL would be a great choice for the MK fans. The boat ride over there is pretty cool. There is a small boat that runs to the Contemporary and it's possible to catch the monorail from there if you are going to Epcot, a restaurant at a monorail resort, or you just want to ride the monorail, which most every kid wants to do.

If you don't like Polynesian in various buildings, and you don't want GF, the Contemporary is all that's left. They've just started tearing down the North Wing so you won't be able to stay in that side, obviously. You may want to check on the resort board about whether or not the construction is noisy or a distraction. I like the tower rooms.

Jenna, if you decide to do Wilderness Lodge let me know. I might be able to pull that one off, even though the theming isn't really my thing. I would love to take the kids to WCC, I think they would like it.

Who knows, maybe Deena would be interested in staying at the WLV? :confused3

Kat, I will let you know, the kids and I both love the WL. One of your friends is coming too right? Otherwise, I would say that you and the boys could stay with us.

We stayed at the CR last year, I loved the room, we had the MK tower room, but with the hotel itself I was not that impressed, there seemed to be lots of problems with the slushy machine, maid service, etc. Just not what I am used to with Disney service.

I am still going to try and stay at POR or one of the values.

I don't know for sure if she is or not yet.

I just like the idea of being in the same area. Even if you do Poly and I do WL, at least its a short boat ride to the monorail so we can swim in your pool. :rolleyes1

Good to know Kelli. I just really don't want to stay by myself if there are going to be other people going. If Amanda ends up going, not so bad, but if not I want someone to chit chat with by the pool. :thumbsup2

There is no availability at VWL (I checked when I was trying to get rid of my 4 points) for the first weekend in June. That included studios and one bedrooms, the gal checked everything although I only wanted a studio. VWL is the smallest DVC resort and if it's full it will be hardest to get into on a waitlist. Not that I was thinking of going over there, since the 4 points have been used for March I will have to stay at SSR in June. I don't have any more points to borrow.

Thanks for the VWL update Catherine.

As long as there is someone else from our group staying at the hotel I am at, I'll be happy. Wherever that hotel is at.

Oh, I'd love to stay at VWL, the Territory Lounge is there. I won't make it over there in March. I would have if I had gotten in there instead of BCV.

BCV will be better anyway since all my dinners are at the Boardwalk. Reminds me to call for an ADR at Spoodles.

Well if she doesn't come, you and the boys can stay with us if you want. We can always sit out on the balcony while the kiddos are sleeping and have a drink!:goodvibes

Ah Jenna...you don't know what you're getting yourself into. ;)

Well, I just got off the phone with Amanda. She's starting a class on March 5. She thought it was 11 weeks but we went to the school's website and it says its a 16 week class. She's going to check and if that's the case, there is no way she is going to be able to come down Memorial Day week. :guilty:

Kat, my offer stands, if ya'll want to stay with us, I wouldn't mind at all.

Jenna, you're very sweet. Maybe we will one night so I can say I stayed at whatever hotel you end up at. I love the way they have redesigned the rooms at the Contemporary and especially if you stay at the Poly, my dream hotel.

But I don't want to take up too much space for you. That's four little kids in one room at night. Can you imagine the chaos? :scared1: ;)

Im going to come over and watch :rotfl:

I think I am getting confused on what weekend we are talking about.

And it appears that we are all going to be at different resorts now.
