Hey. I am a fan of Survivor and love competition. So why not bring that to Disboards? I have seen a Survivor Game on these boards before but don't see any going on now. I won't be participating, but I need 16 of you to. If you signup be sure you are on disboards everyday and that you will be active, or your tribe will suffer because of you. This might sound dumb for some of you, but trust me, this is going to be fun. This is going to start as soon as all 16 people are signed up.

I will make a custom avatar and sig banner for the winner. (I am pretty decent at photoshop, so hopefully it will look cool)
Rules :
The host (me) will announce the daily immunity challenge at a random time during each day. Every day the tribal members will meet for immunity challenges. This game is not going to require you to stay glued to your computer to play, and you can rely on your team members if you are busy but please be as fast as you can to log on and play or vote each day. You will have ultimately 24 hours to play/vote each day, but if you take a long time and make people wait they might not like that and you will probably be voted off. Some challenges are forum-based and some are off-site, trivia etc. An example will be that the challenge will be posted and then the first right answer will win. That player's tribe will then be immune from elimination. In further rounds, when the tribes combine to one, the challenges will only give an individual immunity and not the whole tribe any more.
Immunity Challenges keep the winning tribe safe from being voted off.
When the losing tribe is decided each member of the losing tribe casts a secret vote via pm to me to oust a fellow tribe mate. Please keep these short and sweet so my inbox doesn't become unmanageable. Once everyone has voted, the host tallies the votes, then shares them with the tribe via the public forum. The person with the most votes is out of the game.
In the case of a voting tie between players being voted off. The players who are in the tie will go head to head at a time designated by the host later in that day. The tiebreaker will consist of the host posting something(anything) after the tiebreaker time has been reached and the first person to reply in the forum will survive and the other will be off the island.
In the event of an absent-non-participating player they will automatically be eliminated from the game for that round : it doesn't matter who the tribe actually voted to oust.
Players can not vote for themselves and they must vote every round to eliminate someone if their tribe is up for the tribal council.
Starting on Day 8: The two tribes will be combined into one main tribe. Immunity Challenges become individual.
Starting on Day 9 participants that are voted off begin to make up the jury. When only two players remain, they come to Tribal Council to face the seven member jury. This jury will then individually cast a secret ballot through PM to me by the beginning of day 16 and the winner will be announced.
The first 16 people to post in this thread saying they want in, will be in and assigned a tribe.
Day 1 is today and the immunity challenge will start asap.
Once all 16 spots are filled I will assign the players to their tribes.
