Dis Hockey Pool

Hello everyone.

Last year a few of us were involved in a hockey pool and we have started it up again for the coming season. It is an old school hockey pool with points coming from just goals and assists. It is organized at Yahoo and you don't need to know anything about hockey (although it does help). The computer will draft your team for you but you are able to make changes by dropping and adding most players, as well as trading with other teams. If you are interested, follow the information below. (There is no cost and it is all for fun.)



It is a Yahoo league (go to Yahoo Sports - Fantasy Hockey). You are looking to join a private (or custom) league. The league id# is 45082, the password is mickey.

The pool is set to be an autodraft (yahoo picks the team based on their rankings.) You can edit the list if you wish. I will set the draft date as we get closer to the season. The scoring categories are just Goals and Assists.

Thanks I finally gained access to the site this AM and saw and I must say this is a whole lot larger than last season but then I guess we got it started a little earlier also. I saw 3 of us returning from last year I am not sure if there are more and some have just chosen a new team name.

Well it was a pretty good prelude to the SC finals last night with the HABS winning out in teh end over the Dead Wings...
