ETA: Just saw this post and glad you're feeling better. Try and get some arnica gel (health food stores sell it) to put on the bruise, Corinna - it'll bring the colour down and help it heal more quickly...



Beautiful outfit! Much nicer cut of dress than the red one we looked at - it'll look lovely for the wedding...

This is really strange. DH is really accident prone and normally we always have Arnica gel and Arnica tablets in the house, but at the moment we don't have either. I will get some after work tomorrow.

The dress I ended up with really is no comparison to the one at Evans. That just looked like I had just thrown on a bin bag. The one I ended up buying is a perfect fit and looks gorgeous. I can't wait to wear it and will also take it on the cruise.

I am intrigued!!!!



Have taken my toe to the Docs, Mandy. When Richard had a look at it last night, he took the nail varnish off and it looked even worse than we thought. Doc thinks it's infected so I've got a course of anti-bees for now and have promised faithfully to get it seen to when I return...

Bedroom almost finished - just taking a breather...

Well, I don't get on particularly well with my extended family at the best of times. I have always been the black sheep in the family and certain parts of the family never fail to let me know. The part of the family that I always used to get on with fell out with my parents about two years ago and was not invited. Add to this that my husband has very little tolerance for my parents as they tried their hardest to split us up even after we were engaged (he only came because of my sister) and you have a disaster in the making right there. I never had met the groom (who seems to be lovely) and that his family is exceedingly odd and somewhat arrogant and we had the pleasure of sitting between them and my least favourite relatives. The whole thing was a disaster of epic proportion and I was just glad to be back in Manchester on Sunday evening.

Tell me about it. Still, in two weeks time, I will be sitting in a hotel at Manchester Airport waiting for my flight to Florida the next morning. So I will look forward rather than back.
