I would Love to make it to a girlie weekend but can't commit at the moment!! Its unfair for me to vote but I think of all the venues Manchester is best, its easy to get to and the shopping is fab!

I was having a thought about what month to go in girls, and I wanted to run them by you. I know a few of you can't come during the summer due to the Olympics commitments, so I was thinking of June, late September or October, what do you think ? All opinions are welcome

I think any would be ok for me, i'll just have to get my husband to take a day off.

Not the weekend 16/17 June though. Its Fathers days weekend, so many wont come. Plus its my birthday then and we're going on the HP tour

Late June is good for me but we're away Sept/Oct so can't come then.

Just a heads up aswell but the Diamond Jubilee weekend with extra bank hol is early June.

I already have commitments in June, September and October but it would depend on the place and actual date whether I could make it. I do have a limit on the number of weekends I can take off, so if it was close I could do just a single day if the workload was too heavy to take off a full weekend. I would have more chance of making it in Manchester or somewhere near, but I understand that must be the same for everyone really. I suppose it would be better to go for an option which those who can definitely go can make, if you know what I mean. London is always a good option as it is only 2 and a half hours by train.

At the moment the only weekend I can do is the second one in June! July/August/September are out due to work then off to WDW in October.

Unfortunately I'm going to have to pull out. While I've being looking forward to this since last year but since voting for Manchester my friends husband surprised her with a Valentines gift of a weekend in Center Parcs with her friends. Chuffed to bits as never been to CP before (Sherwood) but it does mean I'll have more than used up my quota for leaving Gavin home alone for the year!

I've looked at retracting my vote but I can't see how? XX

So sorry that you won't be able to join us this year Jodie. Don't worry about the vote, I'm going to be doing another one this weekend with a place & month this time. I had planned to get it done before now, but 'real life' has got in the way recently
