No, seriously didnt think I could go as if it was August/Sept it would have been too soon after our holiday and change of school.

I was pleased its October and Cardiff as Ive always wanted to go there.

Ive decided to go for it
Havent booked a room yet but will look over the next few days.
I enjoyed having a room to myself last time and may possibly treat myself to that again.xx

Beth’s guide to getting suitably tiddly in the ‘Diff... (1st edition):​

In the city centre:

BAROCCO – I have never been here, but I have heard good things about it, and it looks quite nice. They apparently have an “extensive range of drinks”, plus Peroni on tap. ALWAYS a good thing! They also do cocktails, but it’s pretty much just your standard fayre. They are however, 2 of the same for £5.95 all night Friday and Saturday (according to the website - http://www.baroccocardiff.com/)

FAT CAT CAFE BAR – one of my many favourites in Cardiff. Is a nice place to sit and have a few (or many drinks) and has a great range of cocktails (drinks menu: http://www.fatcatcafebars.co.uk/media/fatcats/menu/SAMPLE+DRINKS+LIST.pdf). I think they may have a DJ on the weekend and a bit of a dance floor, but don’t quote me on this... They also do a “Weekend Recovery Service” for the morning after the night before, offering juices and all day breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday. I’ve heard the food is good here too. REFLEX & FLARES – I don’t think I need to say anymore...

YARD – situated in the Old Brewery Quarter and is one of the biggest bars in Cardiff. Is built on the site of the old brewery (funnily enough), and its decor reflects this have retained lots of features from the original brewery, yet is still stylish and modern. In Cardiff Bay:

ELI JENKINS – As Mandy has mentioned, the plan is to start Saturday night here. It is in fact a great place to start a night out; just a good ol’ fun pub! It also has quite a nice patio area, although I’m not sure how much use will be made of that in October....
