**DIS Girly Weekend 2010** ~ IT'S OVER :(

I might wear jeans, too, if other people are. I didn't want to be the only one! But I definitely feel most comfortable wearing jeans. I don't have many dresses and I don't think I have one that I haven't previously worn to a girly weekend, so it will have to be black trousers and a top for Saturday.

You definately won't be alone Theresa, I am wearing jeans on Friday & black trousers on Saturday.....now i've just got to find some tops to wear!

I finally got around to get my train tickets for the Girlie Weekend and there has been a little change of plan that means that I get into Southampton earlier. I am now going via London and will get to Southampton at 12:22. One the return I am also going via London which means that I can leave a little later at 11:25. I think this is working out much better than the original plan.

I picked up some more booze today. I now have mine and Karen's all ready to go.....still not got any clothes though. I guess if I drink enough I won't care what i'm wearing anyway.

I don't mind picking up more drink for anyone else that is going via train to save you dragging it along, just PM me.

I need to get some more wine. Morrisons didnt have much choice, keep meaning to go to Tescos or Asda. Cant even remember what i got, know i got a bottle of Lambrusco for me one night when im getting ready

The only thing i thought i sorted was my shoes. However since i went on a mega walkabout in leicester the other week, my feet have started swelling up- so i may have to skip the heels.

Just to warn you in case you dont know - there are two exits from Southampton Station - the one you want is the one which looks onto ToysRUs . You have to go out through a barrier and put your ticket in. If you go out the wrong way there is a foot bridge over the line.

For those coming by train, once you exit the station, cross the main road ahead of you towards ToysRUs, go through the car park and there is a retail park in front of you. You need to turn right (though you may need to cut through the retail park car park as I'm not sure if there is a path all the way round) and you will see TGI Fridays, our hotel is behind TGI's, it's only a short walk

Just to confirm the car park at the hotel is about £3 a day, is it not??
