**DIS Girly Weekend 2010** ~ IT'S OVER :(

Coco Rio sounds fab. Would we do the Party Menu???

I'd rather not since again it limits what I can have - plus I never know whether or not I will have a starter/dessert until the night. I'd rather not have to pre-book.

And now I'm bowing out since I'm aware I'm sounding very needy ;)

Joh & Claire, what food do you like ? At this rate it will be double cheeseburger meals all round from the McDonalds next to TGI's :rotfl::rotfl: (that's me sorted anyway :rotfl:)

:lmao: It'll be a Big Mac for me! ;)

I like Italian, just not Indian, Chinese or Mexican! :goodvibes

Coco Rio or either Italian is good for me. :thumbsup2

Ditto!!!!! :lmao:

If we do go with Coco Rio I just noticed on the website (2nd photo in from right to left) that it looks like there is a nice long table in a seperate section upstairs. That would be fab for us! ::yes::

No, you don't sound needy!!! Of course, I'll eat anything - as long as it's gluten free, so just as needy... And I prefer the a la carte too...

Personally, I would prefer the a la carte menu, but I am fine with the party menu as well.

Corinna
Same...

I've been trying to remember the places where we've eaten in the past. There isn't a Ha Ha Bar & Grill there, and although I can find an Old Orleans in Southampton, the website says there isn't one there :confused3 When I type American Diners into Google it comes up with TGI's and F&B's (typical !)

Can you think of any other places that we've enjoyed before ? I know there isn't a Hard Rock there (sadly) :)

Strada is the only other place I can think of Mandy but, sadly, there isn't one in Southampton.

If everyone is happy with Coco Rio, I'm sure that will be fine. Like you say, though, better to have something that everyone can live with.

Quick question - How far apart are Flares & Frankie & Benny's?

What about this ? It looks like it's half way to Reflex Buffalo Bills

I don't know anything about it, and I won't be in Southampton before our Girly Weekend to check it out

Quick question - How far apart are Flares & Frankie & Benny's?

Flares is a good 10 minute walk away (uphill), TGI's is a couple of minutes away and F&B's is a less than 10 minutes walk away

From F&B's to Flares, about 15/20 minutes walk away

I've just looked on Google maps & Frankie & Benny's is pretty much the same distance as TGI's (which I assume is within walking distance of the hotel) so if people would prefer F&B's, is there a reason not to eat there before getting taxi's to Reflex?

Does that even make sense. :lmao:

My brain hurts! :lmao:

So am I right in thinking on the Friday we are eating at TGI's then walking to Flares? - or taxi's?
