**DIS Girly Weekend 2010** ~ IT'S OVER :(

Things might be starting to look up. Last week we were given the first draft of our new rosters. We just had 5 new team leaders confirmed and today they interviewed for two more. So our rosters are changing. We will only work 3 weekends in 9 now instead of 2 in 5. We do not know when the new roster starts, but I checked the three most likely starting dates and for two of them, I would have the weekend for the Girlie weekend off. I have just the dress (or should I say dresses to bring as well).

Nothing's been set in stone, but it could be Flares (70's club) on the Friday night and then Reflex (80's club) on the Saturday night.

So, on that note, when can we decide about where/what to eat etc..???

If I remember rightly, Mandy, did you not say that we would need to get a taxi to Reflex? If that's the case and everyone is happy with going to Reflex on the Saturday night, how about we try and find somewhere near there to eat beforehand

I actually should be working on that weekend, but I have a lieu day that I have to use by the end of August and one of my colleagues wants me to work on the 31st July for her and will work the Sunday for me in exchange. So Saturday and Sunday are taken care of. I am supposed to work a late shift on the Friday, but I will either try to swap this for a day off or for an early shift and leave at three.

Now, is anybody still looking for a room mate? I see the Novotel is fully booked for that weekend.

I actually should be working on that weekend, but I have a lieu day that I have to use by the end of August and one of my colleagues wants me to work on the 31st July for her and will work the Sunday for me in exchange. So Saturday and Sunday are taken care of. I am supposed to work a late shift on the Friday, but I will either try to swap this for a day off or for an early shift and leave at three.

Now, is anybody still looking for a room mate? I see the Novotel is fully booked for that weekend.

It depends. If I can get the Friday off, then I will arrive at Southampton Airport at 11:10, if I have to work an early shift, then it will be 17:50. I have no clear idea how long it will take me from the airport to the hotel.
