um... yeah. I've gained 20 pounds scared: ) since the cruise. But that's why I luvs ya'. You lie to me!

I'm right there with ya. I seem to just keep gainng and gaining (has nothing to do with all I eat Im sure ). I'm up about 10 since after the cruise. ARGH!

Speaking of...what is that dessert? Looks yummy!

um...sorry Cheri ..I ain't buying it..either you lost alot of weight, or you had plastic surgery because you look way thinner in the face!!

I am about 4lbs less than I was on the cruise *ducks* but I can't seem to get to 150..i just hover right above that..BOO!!

I am so excited for Saturday! I am going to meet the girl who is putting my VR in the Passporter before she flys back to California..so excited!!

I'm tellin' ya all my bathing suits have shrunk since August!! Magically, in the drawer, all by themselves!! It was really hard to pick one out to take to the ski house. And now the summer stuff is hitting the stores... The winter pooch is bad right now!! Hopefully in another 6 weeks or so it will be warm enough to go outside & work it off. If only I lived in FL I would probably be more motivated to keep the excess Lbs worked off so I could wear shorts & bathing suits all year round.

Finally got wireless up and running. But Dell PC crashed. Guess its true what they say - you can't have it all. I just hope someone is able to retrieve my picture folders and MS Money or we will be filing an IRS extension!!

view from front window AKA "the flat" the building is the well house

view from the back deck looking north. Roof on left is MIL & FIL house in the middle is the hay barn and the other roof is FILs garage.

View from kitchen window. That old building has a name but I forget it. Its an old storage building which houses many a treasure let me tell you!

Annie- I have gremlins that sneak into my closet at night and shrink my clothes. They are closet gremlins and not related to the lazy gremlins that refuse to do the laundry or clean the house. Must look for exterminator....

Gert - thanks for posting the pics! Looks like it could be the farm "back home" in WV!! Yup! Oops, I forgot, yours is a RANCH not a FARM. I still think we are cousins somewhere down the line. I was in 4H!! Didn't have a pig or a cow tho. My aunt had a sheep. Her name was Nettie (both my aunt AND the sheep were named Nettie). I vividly remember doing a demonstration at a 4H meeting on the proper way to wrap a sandwich in waxpaper for packing lunches (this was PRE Ziplock baggie days ya know) I don't know when ziplocks were invented but AFTER the 60's! So before that people used wax paper. Anyway, I had made a PB&J and wrapped it perfectly for my little presentation. Then it was suggested that I pass it around the room for inspection. Oooooh!! Big time! Anyway, I was in like 4th grade & I remember this boy that was in like 6th grade (Pete Sommers) EATING my sandwich before it got all the way around the room. I was so upset. THAT is my biggest memory of 4H. Well, actually....no it's not....I had dropped out by the time I was in HS and our band camp was always at the same time as 4H camp and they were at the same facility... Lets just say that things went on in those barns that probably shouldn't have!

The fun never ends. Gonna go make a sandwich and write a check for our house plan design and then fax the agreement for the engineering co to make sure the design is sound. Oh and write them a check also. All this to get a "bid set" of plans so we can show them to builders to find out if building this particular house plan is even gonna happen. Then shell out more dinero for a final set of plans.

Yes, you must post design plans if you can!

Ummm...turkey (depending on what you got to go with it). I like it with either Monterey Jack, Colby Jack or maybe a Guda or Havarti cheese. Make it a turkey melt (like a grilled cheese). A touch of BBQ sauce always jazzes 'em up too. I have really been into making these grilled cheese sandwiches lately with Havarti, honey and basil on italian bread. OMG good! (Saw 'em on Oprah.)

Weather report from South Fl. Tonight on beach 39 with wind chill 24-32. Inland where Betsy is MUCH COLDER as usual. I have an extra blanket on my bed. I woke this morning freezing. The windows were open as usual, but they are closed tonight. We have winds about 25 mph gusting to almost 50, that is freezing buns cold.
